తాడేపల్లిగూడెం పురపాలక సంఘం ఆధ్వర్యంలో “ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్” కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా బి.ఆర్. మార్కెట్ లోని కూరగాయల మార్కెట్ పరిసరాల్లో ప్రత్యేక పారిశుధ్య డ్రైవ్ నిర్వహించారు. మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ యేసుబాబు స్వయంగా పాల్గొని, అధికారులు, సిబ్బందితో కలిసి రోడ్లు, మార్కెట్ లేన్లను శుభ్రపరిచారు.
చెత్త తొలగింపు :
మార్కెట్ లేన్లలో, రోడ్లపై పేరుకుపోయిన కూరగాయల వ్యర్థాలు, చెత్తను చీపుర్ల సహాయంతో పూర్తిగా తొలగించారు.
రోడ్ల శుభ్రత :
మార్కెట్ ప్రధాన రోడ్డు, అంతర్గత లేన్లను శుభ్రం చేసి చెత్తను ట్రాక్టర్ల ద్వారా డంపింగ్ యార్డుకు తరలించారు.
వ్యాపారులకు అవగాహన :
మార్కెట్ వ్యాపారులతో కమిషనర్ మాట్లాడి, ప్రతి షాపు వద్ద చెత్త బుట్టలు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలని, వ్యర్థాలను రోడ్లపై వేయకుండా పారిశుధ్య కార్మికులకు అందించాలని సూచించారు.
బ్లీచింగ్ చల్లడం :
శుభ్రం చేసిన ప్రాంతాల్లో దుర్వాసన, దోమలు రాకుండా బ్లీచింగ్ పౌడర్ చల్లారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ యేసుబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ :
ప్రజలకు పరిశుభ్రమైన వాతావరణం కల్పించడం మా బాధ్యత. బి.ఆర్. మార్కెట్లో ప్రతిరోజూ వేలాది మంది వస్తుంటారు. కూరగాయల వ్యర్థాలు రోడ్లపై వేయడం వల్ల దుర్వాసన, రోగాలు వస్తాయి. వ్యాపారులు, ప్రజలు సహకరిస్తే మార్కెట్ను ఎప్పుడూ పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉంచవచ్చు. ‘ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్’ కార్యక్రమం పట్టణంలో అన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లో కొనసాగుతుందని తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పురపాలక సిబ్బంది,శానిటేషన్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ లు, మార్కెట్ సిబ్బంది, పారిశుధ్య కార్మికులు, స్థానిక ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు, వ్యాపారులు, సచివాలయ సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.

Special Sanitation Drive in Vegetable Market Under the Supervision of the Municipal Commissioner
As part of the “Operation Clean Sweep” programme, Tadepalligudem Municipality conducted a special sanitation drive in and around the vegetable market at B.R. Market. Municipal Commissioner Yesubabu personally participated in the programme and, along with officials and staff, supervised the cleaning of roads and market lanes.
Waste Removal :
Accumulated vegetable waste and garbage in the market lanes and on the roads were completely cleared using brooms and sanitation equipment.
Road Cleaning :
The main market road and internal lanes were thoroughly cleaned, and the collected waste was transported to the dumping yard using tractors.
Awareness for Traders :
The Commissioner interacted with market traders and advised them to place dustbins in front of their shops and hand over waste to sanitation workers instead of dumping it on the roads.
Sprinkling of Bleaching Powder :
Bleaching powder was spread in the cleaned areas to prevent foul odours and reduce the breeding of mosquitoes.
Commissioner Yesubabu’s Remarks :
Providing a clean and healthy environment for the public is our responsibility. Thousands of people visit B.R. Market every day. Dumping vegetable waste on roads leads to foul smells and the spread of diseases. If traders and the public cooperate, the market can be kept clean at all times. He stated that the “Operation Clean Sweep” programme will continue in all areas of the town.
The programme was attended by municipal staff, sanitation inspectors, market staff, sanitation workers, local public representatives, traders, and secretariat personnel.
