సకల సదుపాయాలతో టిడ్కో ఇళ్ళు సిద్ధమవుతాయని కోటి ఆశలతో ఎదురు చూసిన లబ్దిదారులకు గత వైసిపి ప్రభుత్వంలో నిరాశే ఎదురైందని జిల్లా తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ అధ్యక్షులు, ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి పేర్కొన్నారు. పేదల ఆకాంక్షలను ఏమాత్రం పట్టించుకోని గత వైసిపి ప్రభుత్వ లెక్కలేనితనానికి అదే ప్రత్యక్ష ఉదాహరణ అని ఆయన వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ఏలూరు అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గంలో టిడ్కో గృహాల కోసం గతంలో డిడిల రూపంలో 35వేల రూపాయలు కట్టిన వారికి ఆ సొమ్ములను తిరిగి వెనక్కి చెల్లించే కార్యక్రమాన్ని బుధవారం స్థానిక కండ్రికగూడెంలోని ఒక ఫంక్షన్ హాల్లో అట్టహాసంగా నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా 1496 మంది టిడ్కో ఇళ్ళ లబ్దిదారులకు 6కోట్ల, 23లక్షల, 29వేల రూపాయల విలువైన మెగా చెక్కును అందించీ, వారికి భరోసా కల్పించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా 7గురు లబ్దిదారులకు చెక్కులు పంపిణీ చేసి మిగిలిన వారి ఖాతాల్లో వారి సొమ్ము జమ చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి మాట్లాడుతూ :
పారదర్శకత, జవాబుదారీ విధానాలతో కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం పాలన సాగిస్తోందని చెప్పారు. అందుకు తార్కాణమే గత వైసిపి ప్రభుత్వ నిర్లక్ష్యం కారణంగా టిడ్కో ఇళ్ళు రద్దైన లబ్దిదారులందరికీ వారు డిడిల రూపంలో చెల్లించిన నగదును తిరిగి చెల్లించడమని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ఏలూరు అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గంలో గత వైసిపి ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో మొత్తం 4272 టిడ్కో ఇళ్ళు రద్దైయ్యాయని, దీంతో లబ్దిదారులు చెల్లించిన 14కోట్ల, 89లక్షల, 87వేల రూపాయల డిడి సొమ్ములను వెనక్కి తిరిగి చెల్లించే బాధ్యతను కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం సమర్థవంతంగా నిర్వహిస్తోందన్నారు. దాంట్లో భాగంగానే తాజాగా 6కోట్ల రూపాయలను లబ్దిదారుల బ్యాంక్ ఖాతాల్లో జమచేశామన్న ఆయన,,, వీరందరికీ భవిష్యత్తులో 2లక్షల, 50వేల రూపాయలతో ఇళ్ళు కట్టించి ఇచ్చే బాధ్యతను మరింత వేగవంతం చేయనున్నట్లు ప్రజలు, లబ్దిదారుల కరతాళధ్వనుల మధ్య ప్రకటించారు. వీటన్నింటినీ దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని రానున్న మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల్లో అభివృద్ధికి పట్టం కట్టే విధంగా కూటమికి ప్రజలంతా ముక్తకంఠంతో జై కొట్టాలంటూ ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

TIDCO Houses with All Basic Amenities
District Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and Eluru MLA Badeti Chanti stated that beneficiaries who had eagerly awaited TIDCO houses equipped with all basic amenities were left disappointed during the previous YSRCP government. He remarked that this was a clear example of the former government’s negligence and failure to address the aspirations of the poor.
On Wednesday, a grand event was organized at a function hall in Kandrikagudem, Eluru, to refund the amounts previously paid through Demand Drafts (DDs) by beneficiaries who had deposited ₹35,000 each for TIDCO housing.
During the event, a mega cheque worth ₹6,23,29,000 was handed over on behalf of 1,496 TIDCO housing beneficiaries. Seven beneficiaries were presented cheques on stage, while the remaining beneficiaries received the refunded amounts directly into their bank accounts.
Speaking on the Occasion, MLA Badeti Chanti Said :
The coalition government is governing with transparency and accountability. As evidence of this commitment, the government has refunded the money paid by beneficiaries whose TIDCO housing allotments were cancelled due to the negligence of the previous YSRCP administration.
He explained that a total of 4,272 TIDCO houses were cancelled in the Eluru Assembly constituency during the previous government’s tenure. Consequently, the coalition government has taken responsibility for refunding ₹14,89,87,000 paid by beneficiaries through Demand Drafts.
As part of this effort, approximately ₹6 crore has now been credited to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. He further announced, amid applause from beneficiaries and the public, that the government would expedite plans to provide houses worth ₹2.5 lakh to all eligible beneficiaries in the future.
Keeping these developments in mind, he appealed to the public to support the coalition government in the upcoming municipal elections and vote in favor of continued development.
