రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా చేపట్టిన “ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్” కార్యక్రమం తాడేపల్లిగూడెం పురపాలక సంఘంలో 4వ రోజు కూడా విజయవంతంగా కొనసాగింది. మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ M. ఏసుబాబు ఆధ్వర్యంలో రైల్వే స్టేషన్ రోడ్డులో ప్రత్యేక పారిశుధ్య డ్రైవ్ నిర్వహించారు.
రైల్వే స్టేషన్ రోడ్డు శుభ్రత :
రైలు ప్రయాణికులు ఎక్కువగా వచ్చే రైల్వే స్టేషన్ రోడ్డులో ఇరువైపులా పేరుకుపోయిన చెత్త, ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్థాలు, దుమ్మును జేసీబీలు, ట్రాక్టర్ల సాయంతో పూర్తిగా తొలగించారు.
డ్రైనేజీ పనులు :
రోడ్డు వెంబడి ఉన్న మురుగు కాల్వల్లో పూడిక తీసి, నీరు నిలవకుండా చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. దుర్వాసన, దోమల బెడద లేకుండా బ్లీచింగ్ పౌడర్, ఫినాయిల్ చల్లారు.
భారీగా పాల్గొన్న సిబ్బంది :
మున్సిపల్ కార్యాలయ సిబ్బంది, శానిటేషన్ కార్మికులు, సచివాలయ సిబ్బంది, స్థానిక వ్యాపారులు, ఆటో డ్రైవర్లు, స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థల ప్రతినిధులు పెద్ద ఎత్తున పాల్గొని శ్రమదానం చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ M. ఏసుబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ :
“పట్టణానికి ముఖద్వారం లాంటి రైల్వే స్టేషన్ రోడ్డు ఎల్లప్పుడూ పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉండాలని, ‘ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్’ 4వ రోజున ఈ రోడ్డును ఎంచుకుని పూర్తిగా శుభ్రం చేశామని, వ్యాపారులు షాపుల ముందు చెత్త వేయకుండా డస్ట్బిన్లు వాడాలని, ప్రజల సహకారంతో తాడేపల్లిగూడెంను స్వచ్ఛ నగరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని, గత నాలుగు రోజులుగా నిర్విరామంగా సాగుతున్న ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ప్రజల నుండి మంచి స్పందన వస్తోందని కమిషనర్ తెలిపారు.
“Operation Clean Sweep” – Day 4
Intensive Cleanliness Drive on Railway Station Road
The prestigious “Operation Clean Sweep” program launched by the State Government continued successfully for the fourth day in Tadepalligudem Municipality. Under the supervision of Municipal Commissioner M. Yesubabu, a special sanitation drive was conducted on Railway Station Road.
Railway Station Road Cleaning :
Garbage, plastic waste, and dust accumulated on both sides of the busy Railway Station Road, which witnesses heavy passenger movement, were completely cleared using JCBs and tractors.
Drainage Works :
Silt was removed from drainage canals along the road to prevent water stagnation. Bleaching powder and phenyl were sprayed to prevent foul smell and mosquito menace.
Large Participation by Staff :
Municipal office staff, sanitation workers, secretariat staff, local traders, auto drivers, and representatives of voluntary organizations participated in large numbers and contributed through voluntary service.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner M. Yesubabu said :
“As Railway Station Road serves as the gateway to the town, it should always remain clean. On the fourth day of ‘Operation Clean Sweep,’ we selected this road and carried out complete sanitation works. Traders should use dustbins instead of throwing waste in front of their shops. With public cooperation, we aim to transform Tadepalligudem into a clean city. The program, which has been continuing tirelessly for the past four days, is receiving a very positive response from the public,” the Commissioner stated.
