ప్రజలకు అవగాహన కల్పించిన ప్రత్తిపాడు పోలీసులు
రోడ్డు ప్రమాదాల్లో గాయపడిన బాధితులకు తక్షణ వైద్య సహాయం అందించేందుకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం అమలు చేస్తున్న “పీఎం రాహత్ స్కీమ్”పై ప్రజలకు విస్తృత అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు ప్రత్తిపాడు పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ ఎదుట సోమవారం ప్రత్యేక అవగాహన సదస్సు నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రత్తిపాడు సీఐ, ఎస్సైలు పాల్గొని పథకం విశేషాలను ప్రజలకు వివరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా వారు మాట్లాడుతూ :
రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో గాయపడిన వారికి ఈ పథకం ద్వారా కాకినాడ జిల్లాలో 56 ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేట్ ఆసుపత్రుల్లో రూ.1.5 లక్షల వరకు ఉచిత వైద్య సేవలు అందించబడతాయని తెలిపారు. ప్రజలు ఈ అవకాశాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
పథకం గురించి ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు ప్రధాన కూడళ్ల వద్ద ఫ్లెక్సీలు ఏర్పాటు చేయడంతో పాటు సోషల్ మీడియా ద్వారా కూడా ప్రచారం చేపడుతున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. పత్రికలు, ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియా, సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల ద్వారా విస్తృత ప్రచారం నిర్వహిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు.
అదేవిధంగా రోడ్డు భద్రతపై ప్రజల్లో చైతన్యం పెంపొందించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని పేర్కొంటూ, ద్విచక్ర వాహనదారులు తప్పనిసరిగా హెల్మెట్ ధరించి ప్రయాణించాలని సూచించారు.
‘PM Rahat’ Support for Road Accident Victims
Prathipadu Police Create Awareness Among Public
A special awareness program was conducted on Monday in front of the Prathipadu Police Station to educate the public about the “PM Rahat Scheme,” implemented by the Central Government to provide immediate medical assistance to road accident victims. Prathipadu CI and SIs participated in the program and explained the benefits of the scheme to the public.
Speaking on the occasion :
They stated that under this scheme, road accident victims can receive free medical treatment worth up to ₹1.5 lakh at 56 government and private hospitals across the Kakinada District . They urged people to make proper use of this opportunity.
The officials also said that flex banners are being installed at major junctions and awareness campaigns are being conducted through social media to ensure that everyone knows about the scheme. They added that wide publicity is being carried out through newspapers, electronic media, and social media platforms.
They further emphasized the importance of creating awareness about road safety among the public and advised two-wheeler riders to wear helmets compulsorily while travelling.
