దెందులూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే చింతమనేని ప్రభాకర్పై వ్యక్తిగత విమర్శలు చేసి పార్టీ క్రమశిక్షణను ఉల్లంఘించినందుకు టీడీపీ మాజీ లీగల్ సెల్ అధ్యక్షుడు ఈడ్పుగంటి శ్రీనివాసరావును పార్టీ నుంచి సస్పెండ్ చేసినట్లు జిల్లా టీడీపీ అధ్యక్షుడు, ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి తెలిపారు. సోమవారం ఏలూరులో నిర్వహించిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో ఆయన ఈ విషయం వెల్లడించారు.
ఈడ్పుగంటి పలుమార్లు మీడియా సమావేశాలు నిర్వహిస్తూ ఎమ్మెల్యే చింతమనేనిపై, ఆయన కుటుంబ సభ్యులపై అనుచిత వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారని బడేటి చంటి ఆరోపించారు. ఇప్పటికే ఒకసారి హెచ్చరించినప్పటికీ ఆయన తన వైఖరి మార్చుకోకపోవడంతో పార్టీ అధిష్ఠానం దృష్టికి విషయం తీసుకెళ్లి సస్పెన్షన్ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ప్రజాప్రతినిధిపై అసత్య ఆరోపణలు చేస్తూ మీడియాతో మాట్లాడిన వ్యవహారంపై ఈడ్పుగంటిపై చట్టపరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని జిల్లా ఎస్పీని కోరినట్లు ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. అనంతరం సస్పెన్షన్కు సంబంధించిన నివేదికను దెందులూరు నియోజకవర్గ నాయకులకు అందజేశారు.
TDP Leader Eedpuganti Suspended for Criticizing Chintamaneni
Action Taken for Violating Party Discipline
District TDP President and Eluru MLA Chanti announced that former TDP Legal Cell President Eedpuganti Srinivasa Rao has been suspended from the party for violating party discipline by making personal remarks against Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar.
Addressing a media conference in Eluru on Monday, Chanti stated that Eedpuganti had repeatedly conducted press meetings and made inappropriate comments against MLA Chintamaneni and his family members. He said that despite being warned earlier, Eedpuganti failed to change his attitude, prompting the party leadership to take the matter seriously and decide on his suspension.
Badeti Chanti further alleged that Eedpuganti had been making false accusations against the elected representative through the media. He added that a request had been made to the District Superintendent of Police (SP) to initiate legal action against him for his statements.
Following the announcement, the suspension report was formally handed over to the leaders of the Denduluru Assembly constituency.
