స్థానిక వంగాయగూడెం 18 వ డివిజన్ అంబేద్కర్ సర్కిల్ వద్ద 135వ అంబేద్కర్ జయంతి వేడుకలు ఘనంగా ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్యఅతిథిగా ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి పాల్గొని అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహానికి భారీ గజమాల వేసి నివాళులు అర్పించి, వైద్య శిబిరాలను ప్రారంభించి, పలువురికి మజ్జిగ ప్యాకెట్లు పంపిణీ చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి మాట్లాడుతూ :
వాడ వాడలా అంబేద్కర్ జయంతి వేడుకలు దళిత సోదరులు, నాయకులు మధ్య ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారని, అంబేద్కర్ యొక్క రాజ్యాంగ విలువలు అనేకమైనవి ప్రజల్లోకి వెళుతున్నాయి కాబట్టి ఈ ఏడాది కూడా ఒక వేడుకలాగా జరుగుతున్నాయని, రాజ్యాంగంలో మనకు కల్పించిన హక్కులు ఏమిటనేది ప్రతి ఒక్కరు తెలుసుకోవాలని, వాక్ స్వాతంత్ర్యం…ప్రశ్నించడం అనేది మనకు రాజ్యాంగం కల్పించిన హక్కు అని, గత ప్రభుత్వంలో అంబేద్కర్ విద్యా విధానాన్ని రద్దు చేస్తే.. కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం వచ్చిన వెంటనే అంబేద్కర్ పేరు పెట్టాలని నిర్ణయించామని, ఈ విషయాన్ని ప్రతి ఒక్క దళిత సోదరులు తెలుసుకోవాలని, రాజ్యాంగ విలువలను తూట్లు పొడిచే అణచివేత ధోరణి.. ఏ పార్టీ చేసిన సహించేది లేదని తెలియజేస్తున్నామని, ఈ జయంతి వేడుకలు సందర్భంగా ఈ ప్రాంత వాసులు ఇక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేసినటువంటి రక్తదాన శిబిరాలు మరియు ఉచిత మందులు, సేవా కార్యక్రమాలు ఉపయోగించుకోవాలని అదేవిధంగా ప్రతి గురువారం క్యాంప్ ఆఫీసులో ఉచితంగా వైద్య పరీక్షలు, మందులు అందరికి అందుబాటులో ఉంటాయని, అదేవిధంగా అంబేద్కర్ స్ఫూర్తితో సంక్షేమ ఫలాలు అందరికీ అందాలని, అందరూ సమానత్వంతో జీవించాలని, ఈ ఉచిత మెడికల్ క్యాంపులు ఇక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేయడం చాలా అభినందనీయమని.. అంబేద్కర్ యొక్క ఆశయాలు అనుగుణంగా ఆయన అడుగుజాడల్లో యువత అంతా నడవాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో 18వ డివిజన్ ఇంచార్జ్ గరికముక్కు ఆంజనేయులు, గరిక ముక్కు వీరాంజనేయులు, గోపాల్, ముఖేష్, రాజశేఖర్, మెండా విజయ్, పల్లి విజయ్, రాధమ్మ, వంగాయ గూడెం అంబేద్కర్ యువజన సంఘం పలువురు కార్యకర్తలు, నాయకులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Eluru MLA joins Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations at Vangayagudem
Eluru MLA Badeti Chanti on Monday participated in the 135th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar held at the Ambedkar Circle in Vangayagudem’s 18th Division, where he paid floral tributes to the statue of the Constitution architect and flagged off a series of service activities. The event was marked by a large garland offering, the launch of medical camps and distribution of buttermilk packets to residents.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA called upon Dalit communities, leaders and local residents to celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti in a grand manner across every locality and to make the constitutional values of Dr. Ambedkar more widely known among the public. He said every citizen should understand the rights guaranteed under the Constitution, especially freedom of speech and the right to question authority. Badeti Chanti also said the coalition government had decided to restore the Ambedkar name to the education policy, and urged Dalit communities to take note of it. He added that any oppressive attitude that undermines constitutional values would not be tolerated, regardless of the party responsible.
The MLA further appealed to the public to make use of the blood donation camp, free medicine distribution and medical services arranged at the venue. He announced that free medical check-ups and medicines would also be available every Thursday at the camp office. He urged the youth to follow Ambedkar’s ideals and work for a society based on equality, dignity and welfare.
The event was attended by 18th Division in-charge Garikimukku Anjaneyulu, Garikimukku Veeranjaneyulu and several local leaders and activists.
