పురపాలక సంఘ పరిధిలో బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాలలో అనధికారికంగా జంతువులను వధించడాన్ని పూర్తిగా నిషేధించడమైనది.
ముఖ్యంగా గోవులు, దూడలు, గర్భంతో ఉన్న పశువులు మరియు అనారోగ్యంతో ఉన్న ఇతర జంతువులను వధించడం చట్టరీత్యా నేరమని తెలియజేయడమైనది. ఈ నిబంధనలను ఉల్లంఘిస్తూ ఎవరైనా అనధికారికంగా జంతువధకు పాల్పడినట్లు సోషల్ మీడియా, ప్రింట్ మీడియా, ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియా లేదా ప్రజల నుండి ఫిర్యాదులు అందినట్లయితే, అట్టి వారిపై “జంతు హింస నిరోధక చట్టం – 1960”లోని సెక్షన్ 11 ప్రకారం అపరాధ రుసుముతో పాటు జైలు శిక్ష కూడా విధించబడునని హెచ్చరించడమైనది.
అలాగే, ఎక్కడా బహిరంగ మరియు అనధికారిక జంతువధ జరగకుండా పర్యవేక్షణ నిమిత్తం మరియు చట్టం అమలు చేయుటకు క్రింది అధికారులతో ప్రత్యేక బృందాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయడమైనది.

Ban on Animal Slaughter in Public Places

As per the instructions of District Collector C. Nagarani, Bhimavaram Municipal Commissioner K. Ramachandra Reddy, through a press release, informed that:
Unauthorized slaughter of animals in public places within the municipal limits has been completely prohibited.
In particular, slaughtering cows, calves, pregnant cattle, and other sick animals is a punishable offense under the law. It was further warned that if any complaints are received through social media, print media, electronic media, or from the public regarding illegal animal slaughter, strict action will be taken against the offenders under Section 11 of the “Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960,” which includes fines and imprisonment.
Further, to monitor and prevent any public or illegal slaughter activities and to ensure effective implementation of the law, a special enforcement team has been constituted with the following officials:

The Commissioner also stated
that prior information regarding these regulations has already been communicated to all mosque managements, Muslim religious leaders, and committee members within the municipal limits. He appealed to all Muslim brothers and sisters to cooperate with the municipal administration and celebrate the festival peacefully without any unlawful incidents taking place anywhere.
