స్వచ్ఛపదం కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న జిల్లా పరిషత్ సీఈవో
ఉంగుటూరు గ్రామపంచాయతీ పరిధిలోని బీసీ కాలనీలో జరిగిన స్వచ్ఛపదం కార్యక్రమంలో జిల్లా పరిషత్ సీఈవో పి జగదాంబ పాల్గొన్నారు. అనంతరం అదే ప్రాంతంలో తిరుగుతున్న స్వచ్ఛ రథంను కూడా పరిశీలించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా జిల్లా పరిషత్ సీఈవో జగదాంబ మాట్లాడుతూ :
గ్రామాలు వీధులు పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉండేoదుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం వినూత్నంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన స్వచ్ఛరథం సేవలను ప్రజలు వినియోగించుకోవాలని, గృహాలలో నిరుపయోగంగా ఉన్న పొడిచెత్త కిందకు వచ్చే వివిధ రకాల వస్తువులను ముఖ్యంగా ప్లాస్టిక్ వస్తువులు,గాజు సీసాలు, పుస్తకాలు పేపర్లు, అట్టపెట్టెలు ఈ స్వచ్ఛరధంకి ఇచ్చి తిరిగి స్వచ్ఛరధంలో అందుబాటులో ఉన్న నిత్యావసర వస్తువుల్ని వస్తు మార్పిడి ద్వారా తీసుకోవాలని ఆమె ప్రజలకు తెలిపారు. స్వచ్ఛరథం ద్వారా వస్తు మార్పిడి విధానాన్ని స్వయంగా పరిశీలించారు. ఈ స్వచ్ఛరథం అన్ని గ్రామాలలో విస్తృతంగా తిరిగేలా ప్రచారం చేయాలని, అందరు పంచాయతీ కార్యదర్శులు స్వచ్ఛరథం రాకను ఒకరోజు ముందుగానే ఆయా గ్రామాలలో టామ్ టామ్ ద్వారా తెలియచేయాలని ఆమె సూచించారు. అనంతరం మండల పరిషత్ కార్యాలయాన్ని సందర్శించి సిబ్బందితో వివిధ పథకాల గురించి సమీక్షించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఉంగుటూరు ఎంపీడీవో జి ఆర్ మనోజ్, పరిపాలన అధికారి ఆంజనేయ బాబు, డిప్యూటీ ఎంపీడీవో ముత్తయ్య, ఏఈ కృష్ణమోహన్, డి పి ర్ సి మేనేజర్ ప్రసంగి రాజు తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Swachh Ratham Services Should Be Widely Utilised :

District Parishad Chief Executive Officer P. Jagadamba called upon people to make extensive use of the Swachh Ratham services introduced by the State Government to promote cleanliness and effective waste management in villages. She participated in the Swachhapadam programme organised in the BC Colony under Unguturu Gram Panchayat limits in Unguturu mandal on Wednesday.
During her visit, the CEO inspected the Swachh Ratham vehicle operating in the locality and observed the exchange-based waste collection system. Addressing residents, Jagadamba said households should hand over unused dry waste materials such as plastic items, glass bottles, old newspapers, books, and cardboard boxes to the Swachh Ratham. In return, people can obtain essential household items available in the vehicle through a material exchange mechanism.
She directed officials to create wider awareness about the programme and ensure the Swachh Ratham visits all villages regularly. Jagadamba instructed Panchayat Secretaries to inform villagers a day in advance through tom-tom announcements regarding the vehicle’s arrival.
Later, she visited the Mandal Parishad office and reviewed the implementation of various government welfare schemes with officials.
Officials including Unguturu MPDO G.R. Manoj, Administrative Officer Anjaneya Babu, Deputy MPDO Muthayya, AE Krishnamohan, DPRC Manager Prasangi Raju, and others participated in the programme.
