ఐదేళ్ల పాలనలో ప్రజలను మోసం చేసిన నాయకులు – ఇప్పుడు గడపగడపకు తిరగడం హాస్యాస్పదం
స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని ప్రజలను మరోసారి మభ్యపెట్టేందుకు వైసీపీ నాయకులు గడపగడపకు తిరుగుతూ కరపత్రాలు పంపిణీ చేయడం హాస్యాస్పదమని జిల్లా తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ అధ్యక్షులు, ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి విమర్శించారు. ఐదేళ్లపాటు ప్రజలను నానా ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేసిన వైసీపీ నాయకులు ఇప్పుడు ఏం చేశామని ప్రజల ముందుకు వస్తున్నారో చెప్పాలని ఆయన ప్రశ్నించారు. పవర్పేటలోని తన క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంలో ఆదివారం మీడియా సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి మాట్లాడుతూ :.
గత ఎన్నికల్లో ప్రజల విశ్వాసాన్ని పూర్తిగా కోల్పోయిన వైసీపీ నాయకులకు మళ్లీ ఓటు అడిగే నైతిక హక్కు లేదన్నారు. ప్రజలు ఇచ్చిన అధికారాన్ని దుర్వినియోగం చేస్తూ అన్ని వ్యవస్థలను నిర్వీర్యం చేసి, ప్రజల జీవితాలను కష్టాల్లోకి నెట్టిన వైసీపీకి ప్రజల వద్దకు వెళ్లే అర్హత కూడా లేదని విమర్శించారు.
ప్రజల తీర్పును మరిచిపోయిన వైసీపీ :
ఐదేళ్ల పాలనలో ప్రజా సంక్షేమాన్ని పూర్తిగా విస్మరించిన వైసీపీ నాయకులు ఎన్నికలు సమీపిస్తేనే ప్రజలు గుర్తుకు వస్తారని బడేటి చంటి ఎద్దేవా చేశారు. చెత్తపై పన్ను విధించి “చెత్త ప్రభుత్వం”గా పేరు తెచ్చుకున్న వైసీపీ పాలనలో ప్రజలు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొన్నారని అన్నారు. పేదల ఆకలి తీర్చే అన్న క్యాంటీన్లను మూసివేసి వారి నోటికాడ ఉన్న అన్నాన్ని లాగేసుకున్న పార్టీకి మళ్లీ ప్రజల ముందుకు వచ్చే హక్కు లేదని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
కూటమి పాలనతో ప్రజల్లో నమ్మకం :
రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలు ఒకవైపు ఐదేళ్ల వైసీపీ పాలనను, మరోవైపు రెండేళ్ల కూటమి ప్రభుత్వ సుపరిపాలనను బేరీజు వేసుకుంటున్నారని ఆయన తెలిపారు. కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన వెంటనే ప్రజలకు ఇచ్చిన హామీల అమలుపై దృష్టి సారించిందన్నారు. ప్రతి నెలా ఒకటో తేదీన రూ.4 వేల పెన్షన్ను లబ్ధిదారుల ఇంటికే అందజేస్తున్న ఘనత కూటమి ప్రభుత్వానిదేనని పేర్కొన్నారు.
మహిళలకు ఆర్టీసీ బస్సుల్లో ఉచిత ప్రయాణం, “తల్లికి వందనం” వంటి కార్యక్రమాలను విజయవంతంగా అమలు చేస్తున్నామని, ఎన్నికల సందర్భంగా ఇచ్చిన మరికొన్ని హామీలను కూడా త్వరలో అమలు చేస్తామని చెప్పారు. అభివృద్ధి, సంక్షేమానికి సమ ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తూ రాష్ట్రాభివృద్ధికి కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి పనిచేస్తోందన్నారు.
దిగజారుడు రాజకీయాలు మానుకోవాలి :
ప్రజలు ఇప్పటికే వైసీపీ పాలనకు తగిన తీర్పు ఇచ్చారని, ఇప్పటికైనా ఆ పార్టీ నాయకులు దిగజారుడు రాజకీయాలు మానుకుని ప్రజా సమస్యలపై దృష్టి సారించాలని ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి హితవు పలికారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో ఈడా చైర్మన్ పెద్దిబోయిన శివప్రసాద్, నగర టీడీపీ కార్యదర్శి రెడ్డి నాగరాజు, త్రిపర్ణ రాజేష్ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Eluru MLA and District Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President Badeti Chanti criticized YSRCP leaders for once again attempting to mislead the public by distributing pamphlets and conducting door-to-door campaigns ahead of the upcoming local body elections. He questioned what achievements YSRCP leaders could possibly showcase before the people after subjecting them to numerous hardships during their five-year rule.
Speaking at a media conference held at his camp office in Powerpet on Sunday, the MLA made the following remarks:
YSRCP Has Lost the Moral Right to Seek Votes
Badeti Chanti stated that YSRCP leaders, who completely lost the trust of the people in the previous elections, have no moral right to seek votes again. He alleged that the party misused the mandate given by the people, weakened various institutions, and pushed citizens into severe difficulties. Such a party, he said, does not deserve to approach the public once more.
YSRCP Has Forgotten the People’s Verdict :
The MLA remarked that YSRCP leaders neglected public welfare throughout their five-year tenure and remember the people only when elections approach. He said the party earned the reputation of being a “garbage government” by imposing a garbage tax, causing significant hardship to citizens.
He further criticized the previous government for shutting down Anna Canteens, which provided affordable meals to the poor, and stated that a party that deprived the underprivileged of such support has no right to seek public support again.
Growing Public Confidence in the Coalition :

Badeti Chanti said that the people of Andhra Pradesh are clearly comparing the five years of YSRCP rule with the two years of governance under the coalition government. He noted that the coalition government immediately focused on fulfilling the promises made to the people after assuming office.
He highlighted that the government is successfully delivering a monthly pension of ₹4,000 directly to beneficiaries’ homes on the first day of every month.
The MLA also stated that initiatives such as free bus travel for women in APSRTC buses and the “Talliki Vandanam” scheme are being implemented successfully. He added that several other election promises would also be fulfilled in the near future. According to him, the coalition government remains committed to the state’s development by giving equal importance to both welfare and progress.
YSRCP Should Abandon Negative Politics :
Badeti Chanti said that the people have already delivered their verdict on YSRCP’s governance and advised the party’s leaders to stop indulging in negative politics and instead focus on addressing public issues.
