రాజధాని అమరావతి నిర్మాణ పనులకు కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం అధిక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తోందని ప్రభుత్వ విప్, నందిగామ ఎమ్మెల్యే తంగిరాల సౌమ్య అన్నారు. రాజధానిలోని సీడ్ యాక్సిస్ రోడ్, ఈ-3 రోడ్డుతో పాటు స్టీల్ బ్రిడ్జి నిర్మాణ పనులను ఆమె పరిశీలించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే సౌమ్య మాట్లాడుతూ :
సీడ్ యాక్సిస్ రోడ్ ద్వారా విజయవాడతో పాటు రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాలకు మెరుగైన రవాణా సౌకర్యం అందుబాటులోకి వస్తుందన్నారు.
కారిడార్లో నిర్మిస్తున్న 128 మీటర్ల 2+2 లేన్ స్టీల్ బ్రిడ్జి విజయవాడ–అమరావతి అనుసంధానాన్ని మరింత బలోపేతం చేస్తుందని తెలిపారు. గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో నిలిచిపోయిన రాజధాని పనులకు కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం తిరిగి ఊపునిచ్చిందని, సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నాయకత్వంలో అమరావతిని ప్రపంచస్థాయి రాజధానిగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని సౌమ్య పేర్కొన్నారు.
Amaravati Capital Works Gain Momentum as Infrastructure Development Accelerates
Capital development works in Amaravati are gaining momentum, with the coalition government according priority to strengthening key infrastructure and improving connectivity across the capital region, Government Whip and Nandigama MLA Tangirala Soumya said.
Ms. Soumya inspected the ongoing works on the Seed Access Road, E-3 Road and the steel bridge being constructed as part of the capital’s road infrastructure network. She reviewed the progress of the projects and interacted with officials regarding the ongoing construction activities.
The Seed Access Road is expected to improve connectivity between Vijayawada and various parts of the Amaravati capital region, facilitating smoother movement of traffic and strengthening the region’s transportation network, she said.
Ms. Soumya said the 128-metre, two-plus-two-lane steel bridge being constructed along the corridor would further strengthen the road connectivity between Vijayawada and Amaravati. The bridge is expected to play a key role in improving access to the capital region and easing traffic movement.
She said several capital development projects that had remained stalled during the previous government had been revived by the coalition government. With Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu providing renewed impetus to Amaravati’s development, concerted efforts were under way to transform the capital into a world-class city, she added.
Officials accompanying the MLA explained the progress of the ongoing infrastructure works and the timelines for their completion.
