తాను నిష్కళంకితుడననీ, హైదరాబాద్ డ్రగ్స్ కేసులో తన పాత్ర ఏమీ లేదని ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ స్పష్టం చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్ లో ఒక ఫామ్ హౌస్ లో డ్రగ్స్ పార్టీకి వెళ్లారని ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొన్న తరువాత ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ ఆదివారం తొలిసారిగా ఏలూరులో అడుగు పెట్టారు. మధ్యాహ్న 12.40 సమయంలో ఏలూరు శాంతినగర్ లోని తన క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంకు చేరుకున్న ఎంపీకి అభిమానులు, పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు, నాయకులు ఘన స్వాగతం పలికారు. అనంతరం అక్కడకు వచ్చిన మీడియా ప్రతినిధులతో కొద్ది సేపు మాట్లాడిన ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్.. హైదరాబాద్ డ్రగ్స్ కేసులో తాను ఏ తప్పు చేయలేదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. తనపై వచ్చిన ఆరోపణలన్ని తప్పని, డ్రగ్స్ కేసు విచారణలో కడిగిన ముత్యంలా బయటకు వస్తానని ఎంపీ విశ్వాసం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
కేసు ఇంకా విచారణ దశలోనే ఉన్నందున దానిపై ఎక్కువగా మాట్లాడలేనని, మీడియా సంయమనం పాటించాలని ఎంపీ విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. తాను ఏ తప్పు చేయకపోయినా మీడియాలో వచ్చిన కథనాలతో మనస్థాపానికి గురయ్యాయని చెబుతూ ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. జిల్లా వ్యాప్తంగా పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు, అభిమానులు తనకు మద్దతుగా నిలిచారన్నారు. కష్ట సమయంలో తనకు మద్దతుగా నిలిచిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ ఎంపీ కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు. ఏలూరు పార్లమెంటు అభివృద్ధికి అంకితమై పని చేస్తానని ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ స్పష్టం చేశారు.

దాదాపు 40 రోజుల తర్వాత ఏలూరు వచ్చిన ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ ను టీడీపీ జిల్లా అధ్యక్షుడు, ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి రాధాకృష్ణయ్య, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు చింతమనేని ప్రభాకర్, రోషన్ కుమార్, ధర్మరాజు, అప్కాబ్ చైర్మన్ గన్ని వీరాంజనేయులు, ట్రైకార్ చైర్మన్ బొరగం శ్రీనివాసులు, మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే ఘంటా మురళి, ఇతర నేతలు మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిసారు.
ఎంపీకి భారీ స్వాగతం :
ఉదయం 10.40 సమయంలో గన్నవరం ఎయిర్ పోర్టుకు చేరుకున్న ఏలూరు ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ కు వేలాదిగా తరలివచ్చిన కార్యకర్తలు, అభిమానులు ఘన స్వాగతం పలికారు. ఎయిర్ పోర్టు నుంచి బయటకు రాగానే అభిమానులు పూలవర్షం కురిపించారు. వారి ప్రేమాభిమానాలతో తడిసి ముద్దైన ఎంపీ కాసేపు భావోద్వేగానికి గురయ్యారు. గన్నవరం నుంచి భారీ ర్యాలీగా ఏలూరు బయలుదేరిన ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ వెంట దాదాపు 300కు పైగా కార్లు వాహనాలతో అభిమానులు అనుసరించారు. ఫ్లకార్డులు, బ్యానర్లతో భారీగా తరలివచ్చిన అభిమానులు, టీడీపీ కార్యకర్తలు ఎంపీ పుట్టా కు మద్దతుగా నినాదాలు చేశారు. ఏలూరు నగరంతోపాటు ఏడు అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాల నుంచి ఎంపీ అభిమానులు, టీడీపీ కార్యకర్తలు భారీగా తరలిరావడంతో క్యాంపు కార్యాలయం ఉన్న శాంతినగర్ పరిసర ప్రాంతాలు కిక్కిరిసిపోయాయి.

MP Putta Mahesh Kumar clarified that he is blameless and has no role in the Hyderabad drug case. After facing allegations of going to a drug party at a farmhouse in Hyderabad, MP Putta Mahesh Kumar set foot in Eluru for the first time on Sunday. The MP, who reached his camp office in Eluru Shantinagar at 12.40 pm, was given a grand welcome by fans, party workers and leaders. Later, MP Putta Mahesh Kumar, who spoke to the media representatives who had come there for a while, clarified that he had done nothing wrong in the Hyderabad drug case. The MP expressed confidence that all the allegations against him were false and that he would come out like a pearl washed in the drug case investigation. The MP appealed to the media to exercise restraint as he could not talk much about the case as it was still in the investigation stage. He expressed his grief by saying that he had not done anything wrong but was upset by the articles in the media. He said that party workers and fans across the district had supported him. The MP thanked everyone who had supported him during the difficult time. MP Putta Mahesh Kumar clarified that he would work dedicatedly for the development of the Eluru Parliament.

Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar, who arrived at the Gannavaram Airport at 10.40 am, was given a grand welcome by thousands of activists and fans. As soon as he came out of the airport, fans showered him with flowers. The MP, who was drenched in their love and affection, became emotional for a while. MP Putta Mahesh Kumar, who left for Eluru in a huge rally from Gannavaram, was followed by fans in more than 300 cars and vehicles.
