పశ్చిమ గోదావరి జిల్లా భీమవరంలోని ప్రముఖ ఇలవేల్పు ఆరాధ్యదైవం శ్రీ మావుళ్లమ్మ అమ్మవారికి ఆషాఢ మాసాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని దేవస్థానం చైర్మన్, ధర్మకర్తల మండలి సభ్యులు కుటుంబ సమేతంగా ఆదివారం ఘనంగా సారె సమర్పించారు. పండ్లు, పూలు, పిండివంటలు, స్వీట్లతో అలంకరించిన సారెకు పూరిగుడి వద్ద ప్రధాన అర్చకులు మద్దిరాల మల్లికార్జున శర్మ సంప్రోక్షణ నిర్వహించగా, అనంతరం మేళతాళాల నడుమ ఆలయానికి ఊరేగింపుగా తీసుకువచ్చారు. అమ్మవారికి సారె సమర్పించి విశేష పూజలు, ఆశీర్వచనాలు నిర్వహించారు.
దేవస్థానం అసిస్టెంట్ కమిషనర్ బుద్ధ మహాలక్ష్మి నగేష్ ధర్మకర్తల మండలి సభ్యులను సత్కరించారు. కార్యక్రమానికి చైర్మన్ బొండాడ నాగభూషణం ఆధ్వర్యం వహించగా, ధర్మకర్తల మండలి సభ్యులు పాల్గొన్నారు. అర్చకులు సభ్యులకు శేషవస్త్రం, ప్రసాదం, జ్ఞాపికలను అందజేశారు.
Bhimavaram Temple Board Offers Traditional ‘Sare’ to Goddess Mavullamma During Ashada Month
Marking the auspicious Ashada month, the Chairman and members of the Board of Trustees of Sri Mavullamma Ammavari Devasthanam, along with their family members, offered the traditional Sare to the presiding deity, Sri Mavullamma Ammavaru, at the famous temple in Bhimavaram of West Godavari district on Sunday.
The ceremonial offering, comprising an assortment of fruits, flowers, traditional delicacies and sweets, was first sanctified by the temple’s chief priest, Maddirala Mallikarjuna Sharma, at the Purigudi. Accompanied by traditional musical ensembles, the offerings were then taken in a grand procession to the temple.
Special rituals and prayers were performed after the Sare was ceremonially presented to the Goddess, seeking the divine blessings of Sri Mavullamma Ammavaru.
Assistant Commissioner of the Devasthanam, Buddha Mahalakshmi Nagesh, felicitated the members of the Board of Trustees on the occasion. The programme was held under the leadership of Devasthanam Chairman Bondada Nagabhushanam, with trustees and temple officials participating. The temple priests presented Shesha Vastram, sacred prasadam, and mementoes to the trustees.
