తాడేపల్లిగూడెం పట్టణంలోని జీవీ మాల్ రోడ్డు విస్తరణ పనులకు అడ్డుగా ఉన్న ఆక్రమణల తొలగింపును మున్సిపల్ అధికారులు వేగవంతం చేశారు.
మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ ఎం. యేసుబాబు ఆదేశాల మేరకు… టౌన్ ప్లానింగ్, ఇంజనీరింగ్, రెవెన్యూ విభాగాల అధికారులు, పోలీసు సిబ్బంది ఈరోజు జీవీ మాల్ రోడ్డులో క్షేత్రస్థాయి పరిశీలన చేపట్టారు. రోడ్డు మార్జిన్ను ఆక్రమించి నిర్మించిన గృహాలు, షాపులు, ఇతర నిర్మాణాలను గుర్తించి కొలతలు వేశారు.
మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ ఎం. యేసుబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ :
జీవీ మాల్ రోడ్డును మాస్టర్ ప్లాన్ ప్రకారం విస్తరించేందుకు ఆక్రమణలు తొలగించడం అనివార్యమని తెలిపారు. రోడ్డు విస్తరణ వల్ల ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్యలు తగ్గి ప్రజలకు, వాహనదారులకు సౌకర్యంగా ఉంటుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఆక్రమణల్లో ఉన్న గృహ యజమానులకు, వ్యాపారులకు ఇప్పటికే నోటీసులు జారీ చేశామని, నిబంధనల ప్రకారం చట్టబద్ధమైన క్లియరెన్స్ ప్రక్రియ చేపడుతున్నామని వివరించారు. స్వచ్ఛందంగా ఆక్రమణలు తొలగించుకునేందుకు గడువు ఇస్తున్నామని, లేనిపక్షంలో మున్సిపల్ చట్టం ప్రకారం తొలగింపు చర్యలు చేపడతామని హెచ్చరించారు.
రోడ్డు విస్తరణ పనులు త్వరితగతిన పూర్తి చేసి ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులోకి తెస్తామని కమిషనర్ హామీ ఇచ్చారు. పట్టణ అభివృద్ధికి ప్రజలు, వ్యాపారులు సహకరించాలని కోరారు.
Municipal Commissioner Inspects GV Mall Road Expansion in Tadepalligudem
Municipal Commissioner M. Yesubabu on Thursday conducted a field inspection of the GV Mall Road widening works here, directing officials to expedite the removal of encroachments blocking progress.
Accompanied by town planning, engineering, revenue department officials, and police personnel, Yesubabu assessed structures encroaching on the road margin. Measurements were taken for identifying illegal homes, shops, and other constructions.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Yesubabu emphasized that clearing encroachments is essential to expand the road per the master plan. “This will ease traffic congestion and provide better facilities for residents and motorists,” he stated.
Notices have already been served to affected homeowners and traders, with legal clearance processes underway as per regulations. “We are giving time for voluntary demolition; otherwise, action will be taken under municipal laws,” he warned, assuring swift completion of works for public use.
Yesubabu urged citizens and businesses to cooperate for urban development.
