నందిగామ పట్టణంలోని 17వ వార్డులో నిర్వహించిన గంగమ్మ జాతరలో ప్రభుత్వ విప్, ఎమ్మెల్యే తంగిరాల సౌమ్య ఆదివారం భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో పాల్గొన్నారు. మహిళలు, భక్తులు, కూటమి నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలతో కలిసి అమ్మవారికి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించి ఆషాఢ మాస సారెను సమర్పించారు. ప్రజలందరూ సుఖసంతోషాలు, ఆయురారోగ్యాలతో ఉండాలని ప్రార్థించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే సౌమ్య మాట్లాడుతూ :
ప్రజల విశ్వాసాలు, సంప్రదాయాల పరిరక్షణ ప్రతి ఒక్కరి బాధ్యత అని అన్నారు. పండుగలు, జాతరలకు కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం ఎల్లప్పుడూ అండగా ఉంటుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. నందిగామ నియోజకవర్గంలో అభివృద్ధి, సంక్షేమంతో పాటు ఆధ్యాత్మిక, సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలకు కూడా ప్రోత్సాహం అందిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు.
MLA Tangirala Soumya Participates in Gangamma Jatara
Government Whip and Nandigama MLA Tangirala Soumya on Sunday participated in the annual Gangamma Jatara held in Ward No. 17 of Nandigama town. She offered special prayers to the presiding deity and presented the traditional Ashada Sare as part of the religious observances.
Accompanied by women devotees, local residents and coalition leaders and party workers, the MLA prayed for the health, prosperity and well-being of the people.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Soumya said preserving the people’s faith, traditions and cultural heritage is a shared responsibility. She stated that the coalition government remains committed to supporting festivals and religious fairs that reflect local customs and community values.
The MLA added that, alongside development and welfare initiatives, the government is also encouraging spiritual and cultural activities across the Nandigama Assembly constituency.
