గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉపాధి అవకాశాల విస్తరణ, జీవనోపాధి మెరుగుదల లక్ష్యంగా కేంద్ర–రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు సంయుక్తంగా అమలు చేస్తున్న వికసిత భారత్–గ్యారెంటీ ఫర్ రోజ్గార్ అండ్ ఆజీవిక మిషన్ (VBGRAM-G) పథకాన్ని గురువారం దెందులూరు మండలం సానిగూడెంలో ఎమ్మెల్యే చింతమనేని ప్రభాకర్ ప్రారంభించారు. భూమిపూజ అనంతరం శ్రామికులతో కలిసి స్వయంగా మట్టి తట్టలు మోసి, పార పట్టి శ్రమదానం చేస్తూ పనులకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. దీంతో కార్యక్రమం పండుగ వాతావరణాన్ని సంతరించుకుంది.
తిరుపతిలో కేంద్ర గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ మంత్రి శివరాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్, ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ పాల్గొన్న రాష్ట్రస్థాయి ప్రారంభోత్సవాన్ని గ్రామంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన భారీ ఎల్ఈడీ తెరపై ఉపాధి శ్రామికులతో కలిసి ఎమ్మెల్యే వీక్షించారు. అనంతరం శ్రామికులతో మమేకమై వారి సమస్యలు తెలుసుకున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా చింతమనేని ప్రభాకర్ మాట్లాడుతూ :
‘వికసిత భారత్–2047’ లక్ష్య సాధనలో భాగంగా గ్రామీణ ఉపాధి, నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధికి ఈ పథకం కీలకంగా మారుతుందన్నారు. శ్రామికులకు మెరుగైన ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు, అధిక వేతనాలతో పాటు మహిళల ఆర్థిక సాధికారతకు కూడా ఇది దోహదపడుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. పథకాన్ని ప్రతి అర్హ కుటుంబం సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, కూటమి నాయకులు, వివిధ శాఖల అధికారులు, గ్రామస్తులు, పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ఉపాధి శ్రామికులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

The Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (VBGRAM-G), a joint initiative of the Central and State Governments aimed at expanding employment opportunities and improving rural livelihoods, was formally launched on Thursday at Sanigudem village in Denduluru mandal by MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar.
Following the groundbreaking ceremony, the MLA symbolically inaugurated the works by personally carrying baskets of soil and participating in manual labour alongside workers, creating a festive atmosphere at the venue.
The workers, along with the MLA, also watched the live telecast of the State-level launch held in Tirupati on a giant LED screen installed at the village. The inaugural event was attended by Union Minister for Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Later, the MLA interacted with the workers and listened to their concerns.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar said :
As part of the Viksit Bharat–2047 vision, the VBGRAM-G scheme would play a vital role in promoting rural employment and skill development. He said the programme would provide better employment opportunities, higher wages, and contribute significantly to the economic empowerment of women. He urged every eligible rural household to make the best use of the scheme.
The programme was attended by public representatives, coalition leaders, officials from various government departments, villagers, and a large number of rural employment workers.
