యునైటెడ్ ఫోరమ్ ఫర్ ఆర్టీఐ క్యాంపెయిన్ ఉమ్మడి కృష్ణాజిల్లా (కృష్ణా, ఎన్టీఆర్ జిల్లాలు) కన్వీనర్గా మచిలీపట్నం మగ్గాల కాలనీకి చెందిన మాజీ ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగి దార్ల చెన్నకేశవరావు నియమితులయ్యారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులు మాట్లాడుతూ :
సమాచార హక్కు చట్టం (ఆర్టీఐ)ను ప్రజలకు మరింత చేరువ చేయడం, ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాల్లో చట్టంలోని సెక్షన్ 4(1)(బి) నిబంధనల అమలుకు కృషి చేయడం దార్ల చెన్నకేశవరావు బాధ్యతల్లో ముఖ్యమని తెలిపారు. ఉమ్మడి కృష్ణాజిల్లాలోని వివిధ ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాల్లో సమాచార హక్కు చట్టం ప్రకారం ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులో ఉండాల్సిన సమాచారాన్ని సక్రమంగా ప్రదర్శించేలా చర్యలు
తీసుకోనున్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు.
అలాగే ప్రజా సమాచార అధికారులు (PIOలు), సహాయ ప్రజా సమాచార అధికారులు (APIOలు) ఆన్లైన్ సర్టిఫికేట్ కోర్సులు పూర్తి చేసే విధంగా అవగాహన కల్పించి, అవసరమైన సహకారం అందించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
జిల్లాలోని వివిధ సామాజిక సమస్యలతో పాటు ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ సబ్ప్లాన్ నిధుల వినియోగంపై సమాచార హక్కు చట్టం ద్వారా రికార్డులు సేకరించి పరిశీలించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, బీసీ సంక్షేమం కోసం కేటాయిస్తున్న నిధులు లక్ష్య వర్గాలకు సక్రమంగా చేరుతున్నాయా లేదా అనే అంశాలపై సమాచారాన్ని కోరుతూ పారదర్శకత, జవాబుదారీతనాన్ని పెంపొందించేందుకు కృషి చేయనున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.
ప్రజలకు సమాచార హక్కు చట్టంపై అవగాహన పెంచడంతో పాటు ప్రభుత్వ వ్యవస్థలో పారదర్శకతను బలోపేతం చేయడమే తమ ప్రధాన లక్ష్యమని యునైటెడ్ ఫోరమ్ ఫర్ ఆర్టీఐ క్యాంపెయిన్ ప్రతినిధులు జంపాన శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ మరియు బేతపూడి జోగేశ్వరరావుపేర్కొన్నారు.
Darla Chennakesava Rao Appointed as Convenor of RTI Campaign for United Krishna District
Mr. Darla Chennakesava Rao, a former government employee from Maggala Colony, Machilipatnam, has been appointed as the Convenor of the United Forum for RTI Campaign for the united Krishna region, comprising Krishna and NTR districts.
Representatives of the organization stated :
One of the key responsibilities entrusted to Mr. Darla Chennakesava Rao is to promote greater public awareness and accessibility of the Right to Information (RTI) Act and to work towards effective implementation of the provisions under Section 4(1)(b) of the Act in government offices.
He will undertake initiatives to ensure that information mandated to be proactively disclosed under the RTI Act is properly displayed and made accessible to the public across various government departments and offices in the united Krishna district.
The organization further stated that efforts will be made to create awareness among Public Information Officers (PIOs) and Assistant Public Information Officers (APIOs) regarding online certification courses related to the RTI Act and to provide them with the necessary support to complete such training programs.
Mr. Chennakesava Rao will also focus on obtaining and examining records through the RTI Act concerning various social issues in the district, including the utilization of SC and ST Sub-Plan funds. The campaign aims to assess whether funds allocated by the Central and State Governments for the welfare of Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Backward Classes (BCs) are reaching the intended beneficiaries effectively.
By seeking information on the allocation and utilization of these welfare funds, the campaign intends to strengthen transparency, accountability, and good governance within the public administration system.
Representatives of the United Forum for RTI Campaign emphasized that their primary objective is to enhance public awareness of the RTI Act and further strengthen transparency and accountability in government functioning.
