రామారావుపేట ప్రాంతంలో మహిళలకు ప్రత్యేక అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాన్ని బుధవారం నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా సీఐ ఆది ప్రసాద్ మాట్లాడుతూ :
మహిళలు ఎల్లప్పుడూ అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు. పరిచయం లేని వ్యక్తులను సులభంగా నమ్మరాదని, వ్యక్తిగత వివరాలు, బ్యాంకు ఖాతా సమాచారం, ఓటీపీలు వంటి గోప్య సమాచారాన్ని ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ ఇతరులతో పంచుకోవద్దని సూచించారు.
అనుమానాస్పద వ్యక్తులు కనిపించినా, ఎలాంటి వేధింపులు ఎదురైనా వెంటనే సమీప పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ను సంప్రదించాలని కోరారు. మహిళలపై నేరాలకు పాల్పడే వారిని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్దేశించిన చట్టాల ప్రకారం కఠినంగా శిక్షించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
బాలికల భద్రత విషయంలో ఎలాంటి రాజీ లేదు :
మైనర్ బాలికలను వేధింపులకు గురిచేసే వారిపై పోక్సో (POCSO) చట్టం కింద కేసులు నమోదు చేసి కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని సీఐ హెచ్చరించారు. బాలికల భద్రత విషయంలో ఎలాంటి రాజీ ఉండదని, తల్లిదండ్రులు కూడా పిల్లల ప్రవర్తన, స్నేహ సంబంధాలపై నిరంతరం పర్యవేక్షణ కలిగి ఉండాలని సూచించారు.
సోషల్ మీడియాపై అప్రమత్తత అవసరం :
ప్రస్తుత కాలంలో మొబైల్ ఫోన్లు, సోషల్ మీడియా వేదికల ద్వారా సైబర్ నేరాలు పెరుగుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో మైనర్లను సోషల్ మీడియా ప్రభావానికి దూరంగా ఉంచేందుకు తల్లిదండ్రులు ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ చూపాలని కోరారు. పిల్లలకు డిజిటల్ భద్రతపై అవగాహన కల్పించడం కుటుంబ సభ్యుల బాధ్యత అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
మహిళల భద్రత, సైబర్ నేరాల నివారణ, మైనర్ల రక్షణ అంశాలపై నిర్వహించిన ఈ అవగాహన కార్యక్రమంలో తాడేపల్లిగూడెం పట్టణ ఎస్సైలు బాదం శ్రీనివాసు, ప్రసాద్తో పాటు పోలీసు సిబ్బంది, స్థానిక మహిళలు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Police are giving the highest priority to the safety of women and the protection of minor girls. Strict legal action will be taken against those involved in harassment and crimes against women, warned Mr. Bonam Adi Prasad, Circle Inspector of Tadepalligudem Town.
Under the directions of District SP Nayeem Asmi, and under the supervision of DSP Viswanath, an awareness program for women was conducted on Wednesday in the Ramaraopeta area under the leadership of Circle Inspector Adi Prasad.
Speaking on the Occasion, CI Adi Prasad Said :
Women should remain alert at all times and should not easily trust strangers. He advised them never to share confidential information such as personal details, bank account information, or OTPs with anyone under any circumstances.
He urged women to immediately contact the nearest police station if they notice any suspicious individuals or face any form of harassment. He emphasized that offenders involved in crimes against women would be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
No Compromise on the Safety of Girls :
The Circle Inspector warned that those who harass minor girls will face strict action under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He stated that there would be zero tolerance when it comes to the safety and security of girls.
He also advised parents to closely monitor their children’s behavior and friendships and to remain actively involved in their well-being.
Need for Vigilance on Social Media :
With cybercrimes increasing through mobile phones and social media platforms, parents should take special care to protect minors from harmful online influences. He stressed that educating children about digital safety is an important responsibility of every family.
The awareness program focused on women’s safety, prevention of cybercrimes, and the protection of minors. Tadepalligudem Town Sub-Inspectors Badam Srinivas and Prasad, along with police personnel and local women, participated in the event.
