ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా… ఈరోజు ఉదయం 5:30 గంటలకు స్థానిక ప్రకాశం చౌక్ నందు ప్రత్యేక పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్యక్రమం ఘనంగా నిర్వహించబడింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి స్పెషల్ ఆఫీసర్ & ఆర్.డి.ఓ, మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్, అసిస్టెంట్ కమిషనర్, ఎం.హెచ్.ఓ. మరియు ఇతర శాఖల అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా ప్రధాన రహదారుల స్వీపింగ్, కాలువలలో పేరుకుపోయిన చెత్త, మురుగు మరియు వ్యర్థ పదార్థాల తొలగింపు చేపట్టడంతో పాటు రోడ్ల పక్కన పేరుకుపోయిన చెత్తను తొలగించి పరిసరాలను పరిశుభ్రపరిచారు. ప్రజలకు పరిశుభ్రతపై అవగాహన కల్పిస్తూ, పట్టణాన్ని పరిశుభ్రంగా మరియు ఆరోగ్యకరంగా ఉంచేందుకు ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తమ వంతు బాధ్యతను నిర్వర్తించాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు.

పరిశుభ్రమైన పట్టణ నిర్మాణానికి ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యం ఎంతో అవసరమని పేర్కొన్నారు. పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణలో నిర్లక్ష్యం వహించకుండా ప్రతి వార్డు పరిధిలో నిరంతర శుభ్రత చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని సంబంధిత అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. అదేవిధంగా, ప్రజారోగ్య పరిరక్షణలో పారిశుద్ధ్యానికి కీలక పాత్ర ఉందని, స్వచ్ఛమైన భీమవరం నిర్మాణానికి ప్రతి పౌరుడు సహకరించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
భీమవరం పట్టణాన్ని స్వచ్ఛమైన, అందమైన మరియు ఆరోగ్యవంతమైన నగరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్ కార్యక్రమం నిరంతరంగా కొనసాగుతుందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

Operation Clean Sweep program success
In a bid to boost public health and urban hygiene, Bhimavaram’s “Operation Clean Sweep” was launched today with a large-scale sanitation operation at Prakasham Chowk. The drive began at 5:30 a.m. and was led by the Special Officer & RDO, alongside the Municipal Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, MHO and officials from multiple departments.
Teams concentrated on sweeping main roads, removing accumulated waste from drains and clearing roadside litter to improve overall cleanliness. Municipal sanitation workers, engineering staff and revenue department personnel worked jointly with volunteers from NGOs and civic groups to restore the area. Representatives from Alluri Seetharamaraju Yuva Jana Samiti, Gyan Vijnana Vedika and the Chamber of Commerce joined the effort and pledged continued support for municipal cleanliness and environmental protection initiatives.
Speaking at the event, the Special Officer & RDO urged citizens to take shared responsibility for maintaining a clean town. He instructed concerned officials to ensure sustained sanitation activities in every ward and emphasized the critical role of cleanliness in protecting public health. Authorities said Operation Clean Sweep will continue as an ongoing campaign aimed at transforming Bhimavaram into a cleaner, healthier and more attractive city.
