అగిరిపల్లి మండలంలో సంచలనం రేపిన వ్యక్తి హత్య కేసును పోలీసులు ఛేదించారు. అక్రమ సంబంధానికి అడ్డుగా మారిన భర్తను భార్యే సుపారీ ఇచ్చి హత్య చేయించిన ఘటన వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది. ఈ కేసులో భార్యతో పాటు మరో నలుగురిని పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్ చేశారు.
ఎలూరు జిల్లా ఎస్పీ కె. ప్రతాప్ శివ కిశోర్ ఆదేశాల మేరకు, నూజివీడు డీఎస్పీ కెవివిఎన్ ప్రసాద్ పర్యవేక్షణలో అగిరిపల్లి పోలీసులు ప్రత్యేక దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టారు. నూజివీడు రూరల్ సీఐ కె. రామకృష్ణ, అగిరిపల్లి ఎస్ఐ కె. శివకుమార్ సిబ్బందితో కలిసి నిందితులను అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు.
పోలీసుల కథనం ప్రకారం..
వడ్లమాను గ్రామానికి చెందిన రెడ్డి సులోమన్ రాజు భార్య రెడ్డి దుర్గామణికి అదే ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన పలగాని వెంకన్నబాబుతో అక్రమ సంబంధం ఏర్పడింది. ఈ విషయం భర్తకు తెలిసి తరచూ భార్యను ప్రశ్నించడంతో పాటు, వారి సంబంధానికి అడ్డుగా నిలుస్తున్నాడు.
దీంతో భర్తను తొలగించాలని నిర్ణయించిన దుర్గామణి, తన ప్రియుడు వెంకన్నబాబుతో కలిసి హత్యకు కుట్ర పన్నారు. ఇందుకోసం నాగ కిషోర్, జస్వంత్ రాయ్, కలతోటి మణికంఠలకు సుపారీ ఇచ్చినట్లు పోలీసులు వెల్లడించారు.
గత నెలలో సులోమన్ రాజును పథకం ప్రకారం హత్య చేసి, దాన్ని సహజ ఘటనలా చూపించే ప్రయత్నం చేసినట్లు దర్యాప్తులో తేలింది. అయితే పోలీసుల విచారణలో అసలు విషయం బయటపడింది.

అనే ఐదుగురిని అరెస్ట్ చేసినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
నిందితుల వద్ద నుంచి AP 40 JC 5757 నంబర్ గల కారు, ఐదు సెల్ఫోన్లు, ఖాళీ బ్యాగులు, రూ.75 వేల నగదు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. నిందితులపై కేసు నమోదు చేసి రిమాండ్కు తరలించినట్లు పోలీసులు వెల్లడించారు.
Wife Held for Allegedly Hiring Killers to Murder Husband Over Extramarital Affair in Eluru District
In a shocking case reported from Vaddlamanu village of Agiripalli mandal, police have arrested five persons, including a woman accused of conspiring to murder her husband by hiring contract killers. The case, which initially appeared suspicious but unclear, was cracked following an intensive investigation by the police.
According to police, the victim, Reddy Solomon Raju, had allegedly become an obstacle to his wife Reddy Durgamani’s extramarital relationship with one Palagani Venkannababu of the same village. Frequent disputes reportedly arose in the family after the husband confronted the duo over their relationship.
Police said Durgamani,
along with her lover Venkannababu, allegedly hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Solomon Raju. As part of the plan, they reportedly hired three others — Kalathoti Sai Srinivas, Maddali Jaswanth Ray, and Kalathoti Manikantha — to execute the murder.
Investigators revealed that the accused attempted to portray the death as a natural or accidental incident. However, sustained inquiry exposed the alleged murder conspiracy.
The operation was carried out under the directions of Eluru SP K. Pratap Shiva Kishore and supervision of Nuzvid DSP KVVN Prasad. Nuzvid Rural CI K. Ramakrishna and Agiripalli SI K. Sivakumar led the investigation.
Police seized a car bearing registration number AP 40 JC 5757, five mobile phones, empty bags, and cash worth ₹75,000 from the accused. All five were arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
