32వ వార్డు కడకట్లలోని “బోలిశెట్టి శ్రీనివాస్” స్విమ్మింగ్ పూల్ను సోమవారం మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ ఎం. యేసుబాబు ఆకస్మికంగా తనిఖీ చేశారు.
కొలనులో జరుగుతున్న స్విమ్మింగ్ శిక్షణ, నీటి శుద్ధత, ఫిల్ట్రేషన్ ప్లాంట్ పనితీరు, లైఫ్గార్డ్ల విధులు, భద్రతా ప్రమాణాలను కమిషనర్ క్షుణ్ణంగా పరిశీలించారు. ప్రస్తుతం 3 నెలలు వరకు స్విమ్మింగ్ పూల్లో ట్రైనింగ్ పీరియడ్ కార్యక్రమాలు విజయవంతంగా జరుగుతున్నాయని సిబ్బంది వివరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ మాట్లాడుతూ :
“మీ పిల్లలు – మీ బాధ్యత” అని తల్లిదండ్రులకు జాగ్రత్తలు సూచించారు. 14 సంవత్సరాల లోపు పిల్లలను తల్లిదండ్రులు లేదా సంరక్షకుల పర్యవేక్షణ లేకుండా ఈతకొలనుకు పంపవద్దని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ప్రమాదాలు జరగకుండా తగు జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని తెలిపారు.
త్వరలో ప్రైవేటీకరణ :
ఈతకొలను నిర్వహణను మరింత మెరుగుపరచడానికి, నాణ్యమైన సేవలు అందించడానికి త్వరలో ప్రైవేటు సంస్థలకు నిర్వహణ బాధ్యతలు అప్పగించే యోచనలో ఉన్నామని కమిషనర్ వెల్లడించారు.
ఈతకొలను పరిసరాలను పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉంచాలని, నీటి నాణ్యత ప్రతిరోజు పరీక్షించాలని సిబ్బందిని ఆదేశించారు.

Municipal Commissioner M. Yesubabu conducted a surprise inspection of the Bolishetty Srinivas Swimming Pool in 32nd Ward, Kadakatla, today. He meticulously checked swimming training sessions, water purity, filtration plant efficiency, lifeguard duties, and safety protocols. Staff reported successful three-month training programs underway.
Addressing parents, Commissioner Yesubabu emphasized: “Your children—your responsibility.” He urged guardians not to send children under 14 without supervision to prevent accidents.
To enhance management and service quality, the pool will soon be privatized, he announced. Staff were instructed to maintain clean surroundings and test water quality daily.
The visit underscores the administration’s commitment to public safety amid rising summer swimming activities.
