మెడికల్ & హెల్త్ , మునిసిపల్ సిబ్బంది ఆధ్వర్యంలో…
ప్రపంచ మలేరియా దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా తాడేపల్లిగూడెం సబ్ యూనిట్ పరిధిలో మునిసిపల్ కమిషనర్ ఏసుబాబు ఆధ్వర్యంలో మెడికల్ & హెల్త్ శాఖ, మునిసిపల్ శాఖ సిబ్బంది మరియు సచివాలయ సిబ్బంది సంయుక్తంగా పట్టణంలో అవగాహన సదస్సు మరియు ర్యాలీ నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా దోమల ద్వారా వ్యాపించే వ్యాధులపై ప్రజల్లో జాగ్రత్తలు పెంపొందించడం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నారు. “చిన్న దోమ – పెను ప్రమాదం”, “దోమ కుట్టకుండా పుట్ట”, “ప్రతి శుక్రవారం డ్రై డే పాటించాలి” వంటి నినాదాలతో ర్యాలీ నిర్వహించారు.
అనంతరం రైల్వే స్టేషన్ రోడ్ వద్ద సిబ్బంది మానవహారం నిర్వహించి ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేశారు. ఇంటి చుట్టూ నీరు నిల్వ ఉండకుండా చూసుకోవడం, ప్రతి శుక్రవారం డ్రై డే పాటించడం, జ్వరం వచ్చిన వెంటనే ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రిలో పరీక్షలు చేయించుకోవడం, డాక్టర్ సూచించిన మందులను క్రమం తప్పకుండా వాడడం వంటి అంశాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా ప్రజల్లో ఆరోగ్య చైతన్యం పెంపొందించడంలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరి పాత్ర ముఖ్యమని తెలియజేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో UPHC మెడికల్ ఆఫీసర్లు డా. వన్య సిరి, డా. అనీషా, డా. శ్రావ్య, డా. సాయి లత, సబ్ యూనిట్ ఆఫీసర్ S.V.S. ప్రసాద్, సానిటరీ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్లు సోమేశ్వరావు, రజనీ, శ్రీనివాస్, ప్రభుదాస్, శానిటరీ సెక్రటరీలు, మేస్త్రీలు, ఆరోగ్య సిబ్బంది, ANMs, హెల్త్ అసిస్టెంట్స్, LTs మరియు ఆశా వర్కర్లు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Awareness Rally Marks World Malaria Day in Tadepalligudem
On World Malaria Day, municipal commissioner Yesu Babu led a joint awareness session and rally by Medical & Health and Municipal departments in the Tadepalligudem sub-unit. Secretariat staff joined to educate residents on mosquito-borne diseases, emphasizing prevention.
The event aimed to instill vigilance with slogans like “Small mosquito, big danger,” “Prevent mosquito bites from birth,” and “Observe Dry Day every Friday.” At Railway Station Road, participants formed a human chain and took a pledge to eliminate water stagnation around homes, follow weekly Dry Days, seek immediate government hospital tests for fever, and adhere to prescribed medicines.
Officials stressed everyone’s role in fostering health awareness. Key participants included UPHC medical officers Dr. Vanya Siri, Dr. Anisha, Dr. Shravy, Dr. Sai Latha; sub-unit officer S.V.S. Prasad; sanitary inspectors Someshwar Rao, Rajani, Srinivas, Prabhu Das; plus sanitary secretaries, health staff, ANMs, assistants, LTs, and ASHA workers
