ఏలూరు నగరంలోని అత్యంత రద్దీ ప్రాంతమైన మెయిన్ బజార్లో వన్టౌన్ పోలీసులు విస్తృత ఫుట్ పెట్రోలింగ్ నిర్వహించారు. ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్యల నివారణ, పాదచారుల భద్రత మరియు శాంతిభద్రతల పరిరక్షణ లక్ష్యంగా ఈ తనిఖీలు చేపట్టారు.
వ్యాపారస్తులకు అవగాహన :
ఏలూరు జిల్లా ఎస్పీ కె. ప్రతాప్ శివ కిషోర్, డీఎస్పీ శ్రావణ్ కుమార్ ఆదేశాల మేరకు వన్టౌన్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ కె. రామకృష్ణ, ఎస్ఐ రామకృష్ణ సిబ్బందితో కలిసి మెయిన్ బజార్లో కాలినడక గస్తీ నిర్వహించారు. రోడ్డుపైకి సామాగ్రి, బోర్డులు విస్తరించి ట్రాఫిక్కు అంతరాయం కలిగిస్తున్న దుకాణదారులకు పోలీసులు అవగాహన కల్పించారు.
ఆక్రమణలు తొలగించకపోతే జరిమానాలు :
దుకాణాల పరిమితుల్లోనే వ్యాపార సామాగ్రిని ఉంచాలని, రోడ్లను ఆక్రమిస్తే సామాగ్రి జప్తుతో పాటు భారీ జరిమానాలు విధిస్తామని ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ కె. రామకృష్ణ హెచ్చరించారు.
పోలీసుల చర్యలకు ప్రజల హర్షం :
పోలీసుల సూచనలతో వ్యాపారస్తులు వెంటనే రోడ్డుపై ఉన్న సామాగ్రిని తొలగించారు. దీంతో ట్రాఫిక్ సాఫీగా మారడంతో ప్రజలు, వాహనదారులు వన్టౌన్ పోలీసుల చర్యలను అభినందించారు.
తనిఖీలు కొనసాగుతాయి :
ట్రాఫిక్కు అంతరాయం కలిగించే వారిపై ఎలాంటి ఉపేక్ష ఉండదని, ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీలు నిరంతరం కొనసాగుతాయని వన్టౌన్ పోలీసులు స్పష్టం చేశారు.

Measures Taken to Ease Traffic Congestion
The One Town Police conducted an extensive foot patrol in Main Bazaar, one of the busiest commercial areas in Eluru city. The inspections were carried out with the objective of preventing traffic congestion, ensuring pedestrian safety, and maintaining law and order.
Awareness for Traders :
Following the directions of Eluru District SP K. Pratap Shiva Kishore and DSP Shravan Kumar, One Town Inspector K. Ramakrishna along with SI Ramakrishna and police staff carried out a foot patrol in the Main Bazaar area. Police officials created awareness among shopkeepers who were extending goods and display boards onto the roads, causing inconvenience to traffic movement.
Fines for Encroachments :
Inspector K. Ramakrishna warned that traders must keep their business materials within the limits of their shops. He stated that if roads are encroached upon, the materials would be seized and heavy fines would be imposed as per law.
Public Appreciates Police Action :
Responding to police instructions, traders immediately removed the materials placed on the roads. As traffic movement improved, pedestrians and motorists appreciated the timely action taken by the One Town Police.
Inspections to Continue :
The One Town Police clarified that no one causing obstruction to traffic would be spared and that such surprise inspections and foot patrols would continue regularly.
