తాడేపల్లిగూడెం మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ M. యేసుబాబు పశ్చిమ గోదావరి జిల్లా ఫుడ్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ తో కలిసి స్థానిక రిలయన్స్ మార్ట్ను ఆకస్మికంగా తనిఖీ చేశారు.
తనిఖీ వివరాలు :
- ఆహార పదార్థాల నాణ్యత: మార్ట్లో విక్రయిస్తున్న ఫుడ్ ప్యాకెట్లు, గ్రోసరీ సరుకుల నాణ్యతను కమిషనర్ స్వయంగా పరిశీలించారు. ప్యాకింగ్ తేదీ, ఎక్స్పైరీ తేదీ, MRP వివరాలను తనిఖీ చేశారు.
- నిల్వ పరిస్థితులు: ఆహార పదార్థాలను నిల్వ చేసిన విధానం, గోదాముల పరిశుభ్రతను పరిశీలించారు. FSSAI నిబంధనల ప్రకారం నిల్వ ఉండేలా చూడాలని నిర్వాహకులకు సూచించారు.
- ధరల నియంత్రణ: నిత్యావసర సరుకుల ధరల పట్టికను పరిశీలించి, ప్రభుత్వ నిబంధనలకు అనుగుణంగా విక్రయించాలని ఆదేశించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ M. యేసుబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ :
ప్రజల ఆరోగ్యంతో చెలగాటమాడే వారిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని హెచ్చరించారు. కల్తీ ఆహార పదార్థాలు, గడువు ముగిసిన సరుకులు విక్రయిస్తే ఫుడ్ సేఫ్టీ యాక్ట్ ప్రకారం కేసులు నమోదు చేస్తామన్నారు. వినియోగదారులు కూడా అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండి, ప్యాకింగ్ తేదీ, నాణ్యత చూసి కొనుగోలు చేయాలని సూచించారు.
పగో జిల్లా ఫుడ్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ మాట్లాడుతూ :
జిల్లా వ్యాప్తంగా అన్ని మార్టులు, షాపుల్లో నిరంతర తనిఖీలు చేస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు.
ఈ తనిఖీలో మున్సిపల్ అధికారులు, ఫుడ్ సేఫ్టీ సిబ్బంది, రిలయన్స్ మార్ట్ నిర్వాహకులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Municipal Commissioner M. Yesubabu, accompanied by the district Food Inspector, conducted an unannounced inspection at the local Reliance Mart on Friday to check food safety and pricing compliance. The team examined packaged food items and grocery stocks, verifying packing and expiry dates and MRP declarations. Inspectors also assessed storage practices and warehouse cleanliness, directing store managers to maintain conditions in line with FSSAI norms.
Commissioner Yesubabu warned strict action against those endangering public health, saying any sale of adulterated or expired products would lead to cases under the Food Safety Act. He urged consumers to remain vigilant and check packing dates and product quality before purchase. The district Food Inspector added that regular inspections are being carried out across markets and shops in the district. Municipal officials, food safety staff and Reliance Mart administrators were present during the inspection.
