రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా చేపట్టిన “ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్” కార్యక్రమం తాడేపల్లిగూడెం పురపాలక సంఘంలో 8వ రోజు కూడా విజయవంతంగా కొనసాగింది. ఈరోజు మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ M. యేసుబాబు ప్రత్యక్ష పర్యవేక్షణలో భీమవరం రోడ్డులో ప్రత్యేక పారిశుధ్య డ్రైవ్ నిర్వహించారు.
భీమవరం రోడ్డు శుభ్రత :
పట్టణంలో అత్యంత రద్దీగా ఉండే భీమవరం రోడ్డులో ఇరువైపులా పేరుకుపోయిన చెత్త, ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్థాలు, దుమ్ము, కలుపు మొక్కలను జెసిబి, ట్రాక్టర్లు, రోడ్ స్వీపింగ్ మిషన్ల సాయంతో పూర్తిగా తొలగించారు.
డ్రైనేజీ క్లీనింగ్ :
రోడ్డు వెంబడి ఉన్న ప్రధాన మురుగు కాల్వల్లో ” డ్రైనేజీ క్లీనింగ్” పద్ధతిలో పూడిక, సిల్ట్, ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్థాలను పూర్తిగా తొలగించారు. మురుగు నీరు ఆటంకం లేకుండా వెళ్లేలా, నిల్వ ఉండకుండా ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు చేపట్టారు.
దోమల నివారణ చర్యలు :
సీజనల్ వ్యాధులు ప్రబలకుండా కాల్వలు, నీరు నిలిచే ప్రదేశాల్లో బ్లీచింగ్ చల్లి, ఫాగింగ్, మలేరియా ఆయిల్ స్ప్రే నిర్వహించారు.
ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యం :
మున్సిపల్ సిబ్బంది, శానిటేషన్ కార్మికులు, సచివాలయ సిబ్బందితో పాటు స్థానిక కౌన్సిలర్లు, వ్యాపార సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులు, పెద్ద ఎత్తున పాల్గొని శ్రమదానం చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ యేసుబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ :
“‘ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్’ 8వ రోజులో భాగంగా భీమవరం రోడ్డును ఎంచుకుని పూర్తిస్థాయిలో శుభ్రం చేశాం. ముఖ్యంగా డ్రైనేజీ క్లీనింగ్ ద్వారా వర్షాకాలంలో నీరు నిలవకుండా ముందస్తు చర్యలు చేపట్టాం. ప్రజలు, వ్యాపారులు తమ షాపుల ముందు చెత్త వేయకుండా, డ్రైనేజీల్లో ప్లాస్టిక్ వేయకుండా సహకరించాలి. స్వచ్ఛ తాడేపల్లిగూడెం మనందరి బాధ్యత” అని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
అనంతరం బీఆర్ మార్కెట్ అన్న క్యాంటీన్లో కమిషనర్ ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీ
ప్రజలతో కలిసి అల్పాహారం తీసుకున్న కమిషనర్ :
తాడేపల్లిగూడెం మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ M. యేసుబాబు ఈరోజు 14వ వార్డు బీఆర్ మార్కెట్ ప్రాంతంలోని అన్న క్యాంటీన్ను ఆకస్మికంగా సందర్శించారు. మున్సిపల్ సిబ్బంది, స్థానిక ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు, రాజకీయ నాయకులతో కలిసి కమిషనర్ క్యాంటీన్లో అల్పాహారం చేశారు.
క్యాంటీన్ తనిఖీ :
క్యాంటీన్ పరిసరాల పరిశుభ్రత, సర్వింగ్ కౌంటర్, కూర్చునే ఏర్పాట్లు, మంచినీటి సౌకర్యాన్ని కమిషనర్ పరిశీలించారు. పరిశుభ్రత పాటించాలని సిబ్బందిని ఆదేశించారు.
ప్రజలతో మాటామంతీ :
క్యాంటీన్కు వచ్చిన ప్రజలతో కలిసి కమిషనర్ గారు అల్పాహారం చేస్తూ, అన్న క్యాంటీన్ భోజన నాణ్యత, రుచి, వేడిగా అందుతుందా అనే అంశాలపై వారి అభిప్రాయాలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
- ఫీడ్బ్యాక్ స్వీకరణ: మెనూ, రుచి, సర్వీస్ టైమింగ్పై ప్రజలు తెలిపిన సూచనలను కమిషనర్ గారు నోట్ చేసుకుని, సెంట్రల్ కిచెన్కు తెలియజేసి నాణ్యత మరింత మెరుగుపరిచేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ M. యేసుబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ :.
“రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం పేద ప్రజల ఆకలి తీర్చేందుకు ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా అన్న క్యాంటీన్లు నిర్వహిస్తోంది. ₹5కే నాణ్యమైన, వేడి వేడి అల్పాహారం, భోజనం అందించడమే మా లక్ష్యం. సెంట్రలైజ్డ్ కిచెన్ నుండి సరఫరా అయ్యే ఆహార నాణ్యతను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు మానిటర్ చేస్తున్నాం” అని తెలిపారు.
“Operation Clean Sweep” – Day 8
Sanitation and Drainage Cleaning Drive on Bhimavaram Road Under the Supervision of the Municipal Commissioner
The prestigious “Operation Clean Sweep” programme initiated by the Government of Andhra Pradesh continued successfully for the 8th day in Tadepalligudem Municipality. Today, a special sanitation drive was conducted on Bhimavaram Road under the direct supervision of Municipal Commissioner M. Yesubabu.
Bhimavaram Road Clean-Up
Garbage, plastic waste, dust,
and overgrown weeds accumulated on both sides of the busy Bhimavaram Road were completely removed using JCBs, tractors, and road-sweeping machines.
Drainage Cleaning :
As part of the drainage cleaning operation, silt, sludge, and plastic waste were removed from the main drainage canals along the road. Special measures were taken to ensure the smooth flow of wastewater and prevent water stagnation.
Mosquito Control Measures :
To prevent seasonal diseases, bleaching powder was spread, and fogging and malaria oil spraying were carried out in drains and waterlogging-prone areas.
Public Participation :
Municipal staff, sanitation workers, secretariat staff, local councillors, representatives of business associations, and a large number of citizens participated in the programme through voluntary service.
Commissioner M. Yesubabu’s Remarks :
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner M. Yesubabu said:
“As part of the 8th day of Operation Clean Sweep, we selected Bhimavaram Road for a comprehensive cleaning drive. Through extensive drainage cleaning, we have taken preventive measures to avoid water stagnation during the rainy season. We request residents and business owners not to dump garbage in front of their shops or throw plastic waste into drains. Keeping Tadepalligudem clean is everyone’s responsibility.”
Commissioner Conducts Surprise Inspection of Anna Canteen at BR Market :
Commissioner Shares Breakfast with the Public :
Municipal Commissioner M. Yesubabu paid a surprise visit today to the Anna Canteen located in the BR Market area of Ward No. 14. He had breakfast along with municipal staff, local public representatives, political leaders, and citizens.
Canteen Inspection :
The Commissioner inspected the cleanliness of the canteen premises, serving counters, seating arrangements, and drinking water facilities. He instructed the staff to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Interaction with the Public :
While having breakfast with the beneficiaries, the Commissioner interacted with the public and gathered feedback regarding the quality, taste, and serving temperature of the food being provided at the canteen.
Feedback Collection :
Suggestions from the public regarding the menu, taste, and service timings were noted by the Commissioner. He assured them that the feedback would be communicated to the Central Kitchen and necessary measures would be taken to further improve food quality.

Speaking on the occasion, he said :
“The State Government is running Anna Canteens as a prestigious welfare initiative to provide affordable meals to the poor. Our goal is to offer quality, hygienic, and hot breakfast and meals for just ₹5. We continuously monitor the quality of food supplied from the centralized kitchen to ensure the best service to the public.”
