తాడేపల్లిగూడెం పురపాలక సంఘ కార్యాలయం వద్ద 10వ వార్డులో వేసవి తీవ్రత దృష్ట్యా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన మజ్జిగ చలివేంద్రాన్ని మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ ఎం. యేసుబాబు ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొని ప్రారంభించారు.
10వ వార్డు కమిటీ సభ్యులు మరియు దలాయి తిరుమలరావు మిత్రుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన చలివేంద్రాన్ని కమిషనర్ ప్రారంభించి, స్వయంగా పలువురికి మజ్జిగ అందించారు. దాట్ల జగన్నాథరాజు ఈరోజు మజ్జిగను ప్రజలందరికీ దాతగా అందించినందుకు అభినందించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ యేసుబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ :
ఎండల తీవ్రత పెరిగిన నేపథ్యంలో ప్రజల దాహార్తి తీర్చేందుకు ఇలాంటి చలివేంద్రాలు ఎంతగానో ఉపయోగపడతాయన్నారు. స్వచ్ఛందంగా ముందుకు వచ్చి చలివేంద్రం ఏర్పాటు చేసిన 10వ వార్డు కమిటీ సభ్యులను, నిర్వాహకులను ఆయన అభినందించారు. పట్టణంలోని దాతలు, స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థలు మరిన్ని చోట్ల చలివేంద్రాలు, మంచినీటి కేంద్రాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసి ప్రజలకు సేవ చేయాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో 10వ వార్డు కమిటీ సభ్యులు, మున్సిపల్ సిబ్బంది, స్థానిక ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, ప్రజలు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Buttermilk Centre Launched in Tadepalligudem’s 10th Ward to Beat Summer Heat
In a timely relief amid soaring summer temperatures, Municipal Commissioner M. Yesubabu inaugurated a free buttermilk (majjiga) cooling centre near the Tadepalligudem Municipal Council’s office in the 10th ward on Tuesday.
Set up by 10th Ward Committee members and local leader Tirumalaraju’s friends, the centre saw the commissioner personally serving buttermilk to residents. He commended donor Datla Jagnnatharaju for providing the refreshment.
Speaking on the occasion, Yesubabu highlighted the centres’ role in quenching public thirst. He praised the ward committee’s voluntary effort and urged philanthropists and NGOs across town to establish more such facilities and water points.
Ward members, municipal staff, local representatives, and residents attended.
