స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో పార్టీ బలమే కాకుండా పోటీ చేసే అభ్యర్థి వ్యక్తిత్వం, ప్రజల్లో ఆయనకు ఉన్న ఆదరణ కూడా విజయాన్ని నిర్ణయించే ప్రధాన అంశాలని జిల్లా తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ అధ్యక్షుడు, ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రజలతో నిరంతర అనుబంధం కొనసాగించే నాయకులకే ఎన్నికల్లో విజయం దక్కుతుందని, ప్రజలకు దూరమైతే ఓటమి తప్పదనే విషయాన్ని గత ఎన్నికల ఫలితాలే స్పష్టం చేశాయని ఆయన అన్నారు.
ఏలూరు అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గ పరిధిలోని క్లస్టర్ ఇన్ఛార్జులు, కో-ఇన్ఛార్జులు, డివిజన్ ఇన్ఛార్జులకు పవర్పేటలోని ఎమ్మెల్యే క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంలో నిర్వహించిన సర్ (Special Intensive Revision) అవగాహన సదస్సులో ఆయన మాట్లాడారు. రానున్న స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని పార్టీ శ్రేణులు అత్యంత అప్రమత్తంగా వ్యవహరించాలని సూచించారు.
అభ్యర్థిత్వం ఆశించే నాయకులు ప్రజల మధ్య నిరంతరం ఉండాలని, వ్యక్తిగత విభేదాలు, ఇగో భావనలకు చోటు ఇవ్వకుండా సమిష్టి ప్రయోజనాల కోసం కృషి చేయాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ప్రజల్లో ప్రతికూల సంకేతాలు వెళ్లేలా ఎవరూ వ్యవహరించవద్దని హెచ్చరించారు. అందరినీ కలుపుకుపోయే నాయకత్వ లక్షణాలే ప్రజాదరణకు, విజయానికి మూలమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
సర్ ప్రక్రియను విజయవంతం చేయడంలో భాగంగా క్లస్టర్ స్థాయిలో హెల్ప్ డెస్కులు ఏర్పాటు చేసి ఓటర్లకు అవగాహన కల్పించే కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టాలని సూచించారు. బీఎల్వోలు, యువత, పార్టీ అనుభవజ్ఞులతో సమన్వయం పెంచుకుంటూ ప్రత్యేక సమావేశాలు నిర్వహించాలని తెలిపారు. ఓటర్ల జాబితాలో పేర్ల చేర్పు, తొలగింపు అంశాలపై శ్రేణులు ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించాలని ఆదేశించారు.
అలాగే పోలింగ్ బూత్ల ఏర్పాటు విషయంలో ఓటర్ల సౌకర్యాలను ప్రధానంగా పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుని పార్టీ శ్రేణులు అభిప్రాయాలు తెలియజేస్తే, వాటిని ఎన్నికల ఉన్నతాధికారుల దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లేందుకు తాను కృషి చేస్తానని ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి హామీ ఇచ్చారు. స్థానిక ఎన్నికల విజయమే లక్ష్యంగా ప్రతి కార్యకర్త బాధ్యతాయుతంగా వ్యవహరించాలని ఆయన పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

District Telugu Desam Party President and Eluru MLA Badeti Chanti stated that in local body elections, victory depends not only on the strength of the party but also on the quality, credibility, and public acceptance of the candidate contesting the election. He emphasized that leaders who maintain continuous contact with the people are more likely to succeed, while those who distance themselves from the public risk defeat, as evidenced by the outcomes of previous elections.
He was speaking at a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Awareness Seminar organized for cluster in-charges, co-in-charges, and division in-charges of the Eluru Assembly constituency at the MLA Camp Office in Powerpet. He urged party cadres to remain highly alert and proactive in view of the upcoming local body elections.
MLA Chanti advised aspiring candidates to stay actively connected with the public and work towards collective goals without allowing personal differences or ego clashes to interfere. He cautioned leaders against actions that could send negative signals to the public and stressed that inclusive leadership and the ability to unite people are the foundations of popularity and electoral success.
As part of efforts to ensure the success of the SIR process, he proposed establishing help desks at the cluster level to create voter awareness. He also recommended conducting special meetings in coordination with Booth Level Officers (BLOs), youth members, and experienced party workers. Furthermore, he directed party cadres to pay special attention to voter list additions and deletions to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Addressing polling booth arrangements, the MLA said that voter convenience should be the primary consideration. He assured party workers that if they provide suggestions and feedback regarding booth locations and facilities, he would take those concerns to the notice of senior election authorities.
Concluding his address, MLA Badeti Chanti called upon every party worker to act responsibly and work with dedication, making victory in the upcoming local body elections the party’s primary objective.
