రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతి శనివారం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా నిర్వహిస్తున్న “స్వచ్ఛ ఆంధ్ర – స్వర్ణ ఆంధ్ర” కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా పెదవేగి మండలం దుగ్గిరాల గ్రామంలో శనివారం ఉదయం ముమ్మర పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టారు. ఈ శ్రమదాన కార్యక్రమంలో దెందులూరు శాసనసభ్యులు చింతమనేని ప్రభాకర్ ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొని స్వయంగా క్షేత్రస్థాయిలోకి దిగారు.
పారిశుద్ధ్య శ్రామికులతో కలిసి ఎమ్మెల్యే శ్రమదానం :
ఎమ్మెల్యే చింతమనేని ప్రభాకర్ గారు కేవలం ప్రసంగాలకో, ఫోటో ఫోజులకే పరిమితం కాకుండా, స్వయంగా పారిశుద్ధ్య శ్రామికులతో కలిసి నడిచారు. బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాలలో, రోడ్ల పక్కన పడేసి ఉన్న ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్థాలు, కవర్లను ఆయన స్వహస్తాలతో సేకరించారు. అనంతరం ఆ చెత్తను పంచాయతీ ట్రాక్టర్లు, వ్యర్థాల తరలింపు వాహనాల ద్వారా సురక్షిత ప్రాంతాలకు తరలించేలా పర్యవేక్షించారు. ఎమ్మెల్యే స్వయంగా రోడ్లు ఊడుస్తూ, చెత్త ఏరుతుండటం చూసి స్థానికులు, కార్యకర్తలు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో శ్రమదానంలో భాగస్వాములయ్యారు.
అధికారులకు స్పష్టమైన ఆదేశాలు :
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే స్థానిక అధికారులతో సమీక్షించారు. గ్రామాల్లో ఎక్కడికక్కడ బహిరంగంగా ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్థాలు పడకుండా చూడాల్సిన పూర్తి బాధ్యత స్థానిక పంచాయతీ కార్యదర్శులదేనని స్పష్టం చేశారు. గ్రామాలను పరిశుభ్రమైన, ఆరోగ్యకరమైన వాతావరణంతో ఉంచేందుకు ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేయాలన్నారు. ప్లాస్టిక్ రహిత గ్రామాలుగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు ప్రజల్లో విస్తృతంగా అవగాహన సదస్సులు నిర్వహించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే చింతమనేని మాట్లాడుతూ :
“పరిశుభ్రత అనేది కేవలం ప్రభుత్వం లేదా పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికుల బాధ్యత మాత్రమే కాదు, అది ప్రతి ఒక్కరి స్వీయ బాధ్యత. ప్రజలు ఇళ్లలోని చెత్తను బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాల్లో, కాల్వల్లో పడేయడం మానుకోవాలి. ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ సామాజిక స్పృహ కలిగి ఉన్నప్పుడే స్వచ్ఛ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, స్వర్ణ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్గా మారుతుందని, సమాజంలో ఉత్తమ పౌరులుగా మన వంతు పాత్ర పోషించాలని” పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో వివిధ ప్రభుత్వ శాఖల అధికారులు, పంచాయతీ సిబ్బంది, కూటమి నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు మరియు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో గ్రామస్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Denduluru MLA Leads Hands‑On Clean‑Up Drive at Duggirala under “Swachh Andhra – Swarna Andhra”
As part of the state government’s flagship “Swachh Andhra – Swarna Andhra” campaign, Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar took part in an intensive cleanliness drive in Duggirala village, Pedavegi mandal, on Saturday morning, personally joining sanitation workers to collect plastic waste.
Rejecting a purely ceremonial role, the MLA walked the lanes alongside workers and volunteers, picking up discarded plastic wrappers and waste left along roadsides. He supervised the transfer of collected refuse to secure holding sites using panchayat tractors and waste‑transport vehicles, ensuring proper disposal rather than mere relocation.
“Cleanliness is not solely the government’s responsibility or that of sanitation workers; it is each citizen’s duty,” Mr. Chintamaneni said. He urged residents to stop dumping household garbage in public spaces and drains, calling for greater civic awareness and individual responsibility to realize a cleaner, healthier Andhra Pradesh.
Officials said the MLA instructed local authorities to make panchayat secretaries accountable for preventing open dumping in villages and to prepare concrete action plans to maintain hygiene. He also directed departments to conduct widespread awareness programs aimed at transforming villages into plastic‑free communities.
The event drew participation from various government departments, panchayat staff, coalition leaders, party workers and a large number of villagers, who joined the mass labour effort. The hands‑on participation by the MLA was widely praised by attendees as a practical demonstration of leadership in the ongoing state‑wide cleanliness campaign.
