కృష్ణాజిల్లాలో గ్రామ పంచాయతీల పరిధిలో ఇంటి పన్నుల వసూళ్లలో జరుగుతున్న అనియమితులపై రాష్ట్ర లోకాయుక్తను ఆశ్రయించారు సామాజిక కార్యకర్త జంపాన శ్రీనివాస గౌడ్. ఆర్ఓసీ నెం. 574/2025/B1 ప్రకారం సమర్పించిన ఫిర్యాదులో, జిల్లాలోని పలు గ్రామ పంచాయతీలలో నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధంగా అధికంగా పన్నులు విధిస్తున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ప్రభుత్వం నిర్దేశించిన మార్గదర్శకాలను పక్కనబెట్టి, యూజీడీ, డీపీఆర్ వంటి ప్రమాణాలు పాటించకుండా పన్నులు వసూలు చేస్తున్నారని ఆయన ఆరోపించారు. కొన్ని గ్రామాల్లో 84% నుంచి 91% వరకు పన్నులు పెంచినట్లు వివరించారు.
ఈ వ్యవహారంపై సమగ్ర విచారణ జరిపి, బాధ్యులపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని లోకాయుక్తను ఆయన కోరారు.
Complaint Filed with Lokayukta Over House Tax Irregularities in Krishna District Uyyuru
Social activist Jampana Srinivasa Goud has approached State Lokayukta Justice P. Rajini alleging large-scale irregularities in the collection of house taxes across gram panchayats in Krishna district. In his complaint (ROC No. 574/2025/B1), he claimed that taxes are being imposed in violation of government norms.
Goud alleged that authorities ignored prescribed guidelines, including UGD and DPR standards, while collecting taxes. He further stated that in several villages, taxes were increased by 84% to 91%. He urged the Lokayukta to order a detailed inquiry and take action against those responsible.
