Manu Bhaker wins bronze at the Paris OlympicsManu Bhaker has won a bronze medal in the 10-meter air pistol event at the Paris Olympics.
She secured the third position with a score of 221.7 points.South Korea’s O (243.2) and Kim (241.3) won the gold and silver medals, respectively, by securing the first and second positions.
This is India’s first medal at the Olympics.Manu has created history by becoming the first Indian woman to win a medal in shooting at the Olympics.
The 22-year-old hails from Haryana. Her father is a marine engineer, and her mother is a principal.At the age of 16, she won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Manu is also an Arjuna Award recipient.
