కడప జిల్లా ప్రొద్దుటూరులో మున్సిపల్ శాఖలో 40 ఏళ్లపాటు విశిష్ట సేవలు అందించి జూలై 31న పదవీ విరమణ పొందిన ఉద్యోగి కొత్తమిది శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి దంపతులను మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ తూతిక శ్రీనివాస విశ్వనాధ్, ఆయన సతీమణి శైలజ ఆదివారం స్వయంగా వారి నివాసానికి వెళ్లి సన్మానించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ విశ్వనాధ్ మాట్లాడుతూ :
శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి శానిటేషన్, రెవెన్యూ తదితర విభాగాల్లో నాలుగు దశాబ్దాలపాటు ఎలాంటి విమర్శలకు తావులేకుండా సేవలందించారని, నిబద్ధతకు ఇదే గుర్తింపని ప్రశంసించారు. అనివార్య కారణాలతో పదవీ విరమణ సభకు హాజరు కాలేకపోవడంతో స్వయంగా ఇంటికి వచ్చి అభినందించినట్లు తెలిపారు. కార్యక్రమంలో శానిటరీ సూపర్వైజర్ నూర్ బాషా తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Municipal Commissioner Honours Retired Employee at His Residence
In a gesture recognising dedicated public service, Proddatur Municipal Commissioner Tootika Srinivasa Viswanath, accompanied by his wife Shailaja, visited the residence of retired municipal employee Kottamidi Srinivasa Reddy and his wife on Sunday to felicitate them for his four decades of service.
Srinivasa Reddy retired from the Proddatur Municipality on July 31 after completing 40 years in the Municipal Administration Department.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner said Srinivasa Reddy had served in the Sanitation and Revenue wings with commitment, professionalism and integrity, earning the respect of both colleagues and the public. He noted that the employee had maintained an unblemished service record throughout his career.
Viswanath said he could not attend the official retirement function due to unavoidable commitments and therefore chose to personally visit the retired employee’s residence to convey his appreciation and best wishes.
Sanitary Supervisor Noor Basha and other municipal staff were present during the felicitation.
