నాచుకుంటలో వినూత్న కార్యక్రమం
నాచుకుంట గ్రామంలో స్వచ్ఛ రథం పనితీరును ఉంగుటూరు ఎంపీడీవో జి.ఆర్. మనోజ్ ఆకస్మికంగా పరిశీలించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా గ్రామంలోని పాఠశాల వద్ద స్వచ్ఛ రథం ద్వారా వ్యర్థాల సేకరణ విధానాన్ని విద్యార్థులకు ప్రత్యక్షంగా వివరించారు.
పాఠశాల ఆవరణలో, తరగతి గదుల్లో ఉపయోగం లేని ప్లాస్టిక్ వస్తువులు, అట్టపెట్టెలను సేకరించాలని విద్యార్థులకు సూచించారు. వెంటనే విద్యార్థులు సేకరించిన వ్యర్థాలను స్వచ్ఛ రథం నిర్వాహకుడికి అందించగా… వాటి బరువును తూచి విలువ నిర్ణయించి పెన్నులు, పెన్సిళ్లు, షార్ప్నర్లు వంటి ప్రోత్సాహక బహుమతులు అందజేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంతో ఉత్సాహం పొందిన విద్యార్థులు తమ ఇళ్ల వద్ద ఉన్న వ్యర్థాలను కూడా సేకరించి స్వచ్ఛ రథానికి అందజేస్తామని తెలిపారు. అనంతరం ఎంపీడీవో గ్రామస్తులతో మాట్లాడి స్వచ్ఛ రథం సేవలు క్రమం తప్పకుండా అందుతున్నాయా అనే విషయాన్ని ఆరా తీశారు. అలాగే స్వచ్ఛత కార్యక్రమాలకు సంబంధించి వచ్చే ఐవీఆర్ఎస్ కాల్స్కు సరైన స్పందన ఇవ్వాలని ప్రజలకు సూచించారు.
స్వచ్ఛ రథం ద్వారా వ్యర్థాల నిర్వహణపై అవగాహన కల్పించిన ఎంపీడీవోను విద్యార్థులు, గ్రామస్తులు అభినందించారు.

An Innovative Initiative in Nachukunta Village
Mr. G.R. Manoj, MPDO of Unguturu Mandal, conducted a surprise inspection of the functioning of the Swachh Ratham (mobile waste collection vehicle) in Nachukunta village. During his visit, he provided students with a practical demonstration of the waste collection process carried out through the Swachh Ratham.
Addressing the students at the village school, he encouraged them to collect unused plastic materials, cardboard boxes, and other recyclable waste from the school premises and classrooms. Responding enthusiastically, the students gathered the waste and handed it over to the Swachh Ratham operator. The collected materials were weighed, their value was assessed, and the students were rewarded with incentive gifts such as pens, pencils, and sharpeners.
Inspired by the initiative, the students expressed their willingness to collect recyclable waste from their homes as well and hand it over to the Swachh Ratham. Later, the MPDO interacted with villagers to ascertain whether the Swachh Ratham services were being provided regularly and effectively.
He also advised residents to respond appropriately to IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) calls related to sanitation and cleanliness programs. The MPDO’s efforts to create awareness about scientific waste management and the services of the Swachh Ratham were widely appreciated by both students and villagers.
