రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా చేపట్టిన “ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్” కార్యక్రమం భీమవరం పురపాలక సంఘంలో 5వ రోజూ విజయవంతంగా కొనసాగింది. జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ సి. నాగరాణి మరియు మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ కె. రామచంద్ర రెడ్డి సూచనల మేరకు అసిస్టెంట్ కమిషనర్ ఎ. రాంబాబు ఆధ్వర్యంలో స్థానిక రెస్ట్ హౌస్ రోడ్డునందు ప్రత్యేక పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు.
ప్రజల రాకపోకలు అధికంగా ఉండే రెస్ట్ హౌస్ రోడ్డులో ఇరువైపులా పేరుకుపోయిన చెత్త, ప్లాస్టిక్ వ్యర్థాలు, దుమ్మును జేసీబీలు, ట్రాక్టర్ల సహాయంతో పూర్తిగా తొలగించారు. అలాగే రోడ్డు వెంబడి ఉన్న మురుగు కాల్వల్లో పూడికను తొలగించి నీరు నిల్వ లేకుండా చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. దుర్వాసన, దోమల నివారణ కోసం బ్లీచింగ్ పౌడర్, ఫినాయిల్ చల్లారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా అధికారులు మాట్లాడుతూ :
పట్టణంలోని ప్రధాన రహదారులు ఎల్లప్పుడూ పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉండేలా చర్యలు కొనసాగిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. వ్యాపారులు తమ దుకాణాల ముందు చెత్త వేయకుండా తప్పనిసరిగా డస్ట్బిన్లను వినియోగించాలని సూచించారు.
అలాగే పారిశుద్ధ్య నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించి రోడ్లపై చెత్త వేస్తున్న వారిపై తగిన జరిమానాలు విధించబడతాయని అధికారులు హెచ్చరించారు.
గత ఐదు రోజులుగా కొనసాగుతున్న “ఆపరేషన్ క్లీన్ స్వీప్” కార్యక్రమానికి ప్రజల నుండి విశేష స్పందన లభిస్తోందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రముఖ వైద్యులు డా. చీడే సత్యన్నారాయణ, జిల్లా వాకర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ గవర్నర్ వడుపు గోపి, సభ్యులు కళ్ళక్కడి గాంధీ, రామ్మోహనరావు, బొండా శ్రీరామ్, వాసవి క్లబ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ చిన్నయ్య, సెక్రటరీ చిన్నయ్య, విజ్ఞాన వేదిక కన్వీనర్ రంగసాయి, కొప్పినేటి ప్రకాష్ (సెక్రటరీ), ఎస్. హనుమంతరావు (ట్రెజరర్), ఆల్ వాకర్స్ భీమవరం ప్రెసిడెంట్ భీమాల శ్రీరామ్ మూర్తి, ఎంహెచ్వో ఆర్. సోమశేఖరం, శానిటరీ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్లు రమణ, కృష్ణారావు, సత్యనారాయణ రాజు, మున్సిపల్ అధికారులు, శానిటరీ సిబ్బంది, పరిశుభ్రత కార్మికులు, స్థానిక వ్యాపారులు, ఆటో డ్రైవర్లు, స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థల ప్రతినిధులు మరియు ప్రజలు పాల్గొన్నారు.
“Operation Clean Sweep” Program – Day 5
The prestigious “Operation Clean Sweep” program undertaken by the State Government continued successfully for the fifth day in Bhimavaram Municipality. Following the directions of District Collector C. Nagarani and Municipal Commissioner K. Ramachandra Reddy, a special sanitation drive was conducted on Rest House Road under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner A. Rambabu.
Garbage, plastic waste, and dust accumulated on both sides of the busy Rest House Road were completely cleared using JCBs and tractors. Silt in the roadside drainage canals was also removed to prevent water stagnation. Bleaching powder and phenyl were sprayed to control foul smell and mosquitoes.
Speaking on the occasion, the officials stated :
Measures are being continuously taken to ensure that the main roads in the town remain clean at all times. Traders were advised to compulsorily use dustbins and avoid dumping garbage in front of their shops.
Officials also warned that strict fines would be imposed on those violating sanitation rules and throwing waste on roads.
Officials said that the “Operation Clean Sweep” program, which has been continuing for the past five days, has been receiving an overwhelming response from the public.
Prominent participants in the program included noted doctor Dr. Cheede Satyanarayana, District Walkers Association Governor Vadupu Gopi, members Kallakadi Gandhi, Rammohan Rao, Bonda Sriram, Vasavi Club President Chinnayya, Secretary Chinnayya, Vignana Vedika Convener Rangasai, Koppineni Prakash (Secretary), S. Hanumantha Rao (Treasurer), All Walkers Bhimavaram President Bheemala Sriram Murthy, MHO R. Somasekharam, Sanitary Inspectors Ramana, Krishna Rao, Satyanarayana Raju, municipal officials, sanitation staff, cleanliness workers, local traders, auto drivers, representatives of voluntary organizations, and members of the public participated in the program.
