తణుకు పట్టణం రూట్స్ పాఠశాలలో సజ్జాపురం లయన్స్ క్లబ్, భారత్ బయోటెక్ సంయుక్త ఆధ్వర్యంలో విద్యార్థులకు గురువారం టైఫాయిడ్ నివారణ వ్యాక్సినేషన్ కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. విద్యార్థుల ఆరోగ్య పరిరక్షణలో భాగంగా టైఫాయిడ్ వంటి వ్యాధులను నివారించేందుకు ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని చేపట్టినట్లు జిల్లా గ్లోబల్ యాక్షన్ టీమ్ లీడర్షిప్ కోఆర్డినేటర్ పుట్టా విజయశ్రీ తెలిపారు. తణుకులో మిగిలిన పాఠశాలల్లో కూడా ఈ వ్యాక్సినేషన్ కార్యక్రమాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తామని వెల్లడించారు. డాక్టర్ గుత్తుల బాలసుబ్రమణ్యం సూచనలతో 250 మంది విద్యార్థులకు టైఫాయిడ్ నివారణ టీకాలు వేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సజ్జాపురం లయన్స్ క్లబ్ కార్యదర్శి గమిని రమేష్, లయన్స్ సభ్యుడు పుట్టా రామచంద్రరావు, పాఠశాల డైరెక్టర్లు K. త్రిపాఠీ,N.V.S.S. సుధాకర్ వర్మ, B.విద్యాకాంత్, భారత్ బయోటెక్ కంపెనీ కోఆర్డినేటర్లు వేముల మురళి, ఠాగూర్ రాజేంద్ర తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Vaccination Drive Launched to Protect Tanuku Schoolchildren from Typhoid
A typhoid prevention vaccination drive was organised at Roots School in Tanuku on Thursday under the joint auspices of the Sajjapuram Lions Club and Bharat Biotech.
As part of efforts to safeguard the health of schoolchildren and prevent typhoid and other vaccine-preventable diseases, 250 students were administered typhoid vaccines during the programme.
Puttа Vijayashree, District Global Action Team Leadership Coordinator, said the initiative was aimed at creating greater awareness among students about preventive healthcare and protecting them from typhoid infections. She said similar vaccination programmes would be conducted in other schools across Tanuku in the coming days.
The vaccination programme was conducted following the medical guidance of Dr. Gutthula Balasubramanyam.
Sajjapuram Lions Club secretary Gaminі Ramesh, Lions Club member Putta Ramachandra Rao, school directors K. Tripathi, N.V.S.S. Sudhakar Varma and B. Vidyakant, and Bharat Biotech coordinators Vemula Murali and Tagore Rajendra were among those who participated in the programme.
