🔴 ఏలూరు జిల్లా : ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే క్యాంపు కార్యాలయం :
గత వైసిపి ప్రభుత్వ విధ్వంసకర పాలనలో తీవ్రంగా నష్టపోయిన టిడ్కో గృహాల లబ్ధిదారులకు కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తిస్థాయిలో న్యాయం చేస్తుందని, వచ్చే జూన్ నెలాఖరికి టిడ్కో గృహాలను లబ్ధిదారులకు అందజేస్తామని ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి భరోసా ఇచ్చారు. అధికారంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు ప్రజలకు మేలు చేయలేని వారికి ఇప్పుడు మాట్లాడే నైతిక హక్కు ఎక్కడిదని ఆయన ప్రశ్నించారు.
ప్రజా ప్రయోజనాలే లక్ష్యంగా అహర్నిశలు కృషి చేస్తున్న ఏలూరు ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి పోణంగి రోడ్ లో నిర్మిస్తున్న టిడ్కో గృహాలను శరవేగంగా పూర్తి చేయించి లబ్ధిదారులకు అందించి వారి కళల్లో ఆనందాన్ని చూడాలని తాపత్రయ పడుతున్నారు. దీనిలో భాగంగానే టిడ్కో గృహాల పనులను పరుగులు పెట్టేలా అధికారులకు పలు సూచనలు చేస్తూ వస్తున్నారు. మంగళవారం స్వయంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి పోణంగి రోడ్డు లోని టిడ్కో గృహాలను పరిశీలించారు. పనుల వివరాలను అధికారులను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే చంటి మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ :
2014-19 మధ్యకాలంలో అధికారంలో ఉన్న తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ ప్రభుత్వం పేద ప్రజలు సుఖశాంతులతో జీవించడానికి నాణ్యమైన గృహాలను అందించాలని నిర్ణయించి పోణంగి, కొత్తూరు, మాదేపల్లిలో దాదాపు 6486 టిడ్కో గృహాలకు శంకుస్థాపన చేసిందని తెలిపారు. ఈ గృహాల నిర్మాణం పురోగతిలో ఉండగా…ఆ తర్వాత వచ్చిన వైసీపీ ప్రభుత్వం టిడ్కో గృహాలను నిర్వీర్యం చేసే విధంగా చర్యలు తీసుకుందని ధ్వజమెత్తారు.
కేవలం విధ్వంసం తప్ప ప్రజా సంక్షేమాన్ని విస్మరించిన జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వం టిడ్కో గృహాలను పూర్తి చేయకపోగా చివరకు లబ్ధిదారులను కూడా మోసం చేశారని ఆరోపించారు. ఈ ఇళ్లను కూడా తాకట్టు పెట్టి రుణాలు తీసుకుని లబ్ధిదారులను నిలువు దోపిడీ చేశారని ధ్వజమెత్తారు. డీడీలు కట్టిన పాపానికి లబ్ధిదారులు బ్యాంకు నోటీసులు అందుకోవాల్సిన పరిస్థితితోపాటు సిబిల్ స్కోర్ పడిపోయి వారికి మళ్ళీ రుణాలు వచ్చే అవకాశం లేకుండా పోయిందని ఎమ్మెల్యే బడేటి చంటి పేర్కొన్నారు. వచ్చే నెల ఏప్రిల్ లో డీడీలు కట్టిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి ఆ మొత్తాన్ని తిరిగి వారి ఖాతాల్లో జమ చేయడం జరుగుతుందని ఆయన హామీ ఇచ్చారు. అదేవిధంగా పోణంగి, కొత్తూరులో నిర్మిస్తున్న టిడ్కో గృహాలను జూన్ నెలకి లబ్ధిదారులకు అందించి తీరుతామని ఆయన ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

Eluru MLA Badeti Chanti has assured that all eligible beneficiaries of the TIDCO housing scheme in Eluru will receive their flats within the next three months, with handover targeted by the end of June.
TIDCO Houses to be Handed Over by June :.
Addressing the media at his camp office after inspecting the TIDCO housing complex on Ponangi Road, Badeti Chanti said the coalition government is committed to doing “complete justice” to beneficiaries who suffered in the previous regime. He announced that TIDCO units under construction at Ponangi and Kotturu would be completed and handed over to the allottees by June.
Allegations Against Previous Government :
The MLA recalled that during the 2014–19 TDP tenure, the government launched construction of around 6,486 TIDCO houses at Ponangi, Kotturu and Madhepalli to provide quality housing for the poor. He alleged that the subsequent YSRCP government “virtually paralysed” the TIDCO projects, failed to complete the houses and “betrayed” beneficiaries.
DD Refunds and Beneficiaries’ Relief :
Badeti Chanti charged that TIDCO houses were mortgaged for loans, leaving beneficiaries burdened with bank notices and damaged CIBIL scores after paying demand drafts (DDs) for allotment. He assured that from April, every beneficiary who paid DDs would get their amount refunded directly into their bank accounts.

The MLA personally reviewed the progress of works at the Ponangi site and issued directions to officials to speed up construction. RTC Vijayawada Zone–2 Chairman Reddy Appalanaidu, BJP district president Choutupalli Vikram Kishore, Deputy Mayor Karri Srinivas, TIDCO engineers and leaders of TDP, BJP and Jana Sena from the NDA alliance participated in the programme.
