నేషనల్ ఆయుష్ మిషన్ (NAM) కింద, 2014-15 నుండి 2024-25 మధ్య రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల నుండి వచ్చిన ప్రతిపాదనల ప్రకారం ఇప్పటివరకూ 203 ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ ఆయుష్ హాస్పిటల్స్ (IAH) యూనిట్లను స్థాపించడానికి ఆమోదం తెలిపినట్లు కేంద్ర ఆయుష్ వ్యవహారాల మంత్రి ప్రతాప్రావు జాదవ్ తెలిపారు. పంచకర్మ కార్యకలాపాల కోసం జిల్లా ఆసుపత్రులలో ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్న ప్రత్యేక వైద్యం వివరాలు కోరుతూ ఏలూరు ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు శుక్రవారం లోకసభలో కేంద్ర మంత్రి సమాధానం ఇచ్చారు.
పంచకర్మ వైద్య కార్యకలాపాల కోసం ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ కు సంబంధించి కాకినాడ, విశాఖపట్నం జిల్లా ఆసుపత్రుల్లో నూతన భవనాలు నిర్మిస్తున్నామన్న కేంద్ర మంత్రి, వీటిలో 50 పడకలతో కూడిన థెరపీ గదులు ఇతర సౌకర్యాలు కల్పిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. కాకినాడలో భవన నిర్మాణం ఇప్పటికే పూర్తి కాగా, విశాఖలో నిర్మాణ దశలో ఉందని కేంద్ర మంత్రి జాదవ్ వివరించారు.
ఈ పంచకర్మ యూనిట్లలో అందించే వైద్యం, రోగుల సంఖ్య వివరాలు కోరుతూ ఎంపీ పుట్టా మహేష్ కుమార్ అడిగిన మరో ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానం ఇచ్చిన కేంద్ర మంత్రి.. ఈ యూనిట్లలో ప్రత్యేకంగా ఆయుర్వేద, హోమియోపతి, యోగా, నాచురోపతి వైద్యం అందిస్తారని, అయితే ప్రజారోగ్యం రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన అంశమైనందున నిర్వహణ, చికిత్స పొందిన రోగుల డేటాను సంబంధిత రాష్ట్రాలు/కేంద్ర పాలిత ప్రాంతాలే నిర్వహిస్తున్నాయని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
203 Panchakarma units across the country.. Union Minister Pratap Rao Jadhav with MP Putta Mahesh Kumar
Under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM), 203 Integrated AYUSH Hospitals (IAH) units have been approved so far as per the proposals received from the state governments between 2014-15 and 2024-25, Union Minister for AYUSH Affairs Pratap Rao Jadhav said. The Union Minister was replying to a question raised by Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar in the Lok Sabha on Friday, seeking details of the special treatment being set up in district hospitals for Panchakarma activities. The Union Minister said that new buildings are being constructed in Kakinada and Visakhapatnam district hospitals for Panchakarma medical activities in Andhra Pradesh, and 50-bed therapy rooms and other facilities are being provided in these. While the construction of the building in Kakinada has already been completed, Union Minister Jadhav explained that it is under construction in Visakhapatnam.
Responding to another question asked by MP Putta Mahesh Kumar seeking details of the treatment provided in these Panchakarma units and the number of patients, the Union Minister clarified that these units will provide Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Yoga and Naturopathy treatment exclusively, but since public health is a state matter, the management and data of patients treated are maintained by the respective states/UTs.
