ఉయ్యూరు మున్సిపాలిటిలోని సర్వే నెం. 650 లో ది.17.01.2008 న ఉయ్యూరులోని వివిధ దినపత్రికల 11 మంది పాత్రికేయులకు మంజూరు చేసిన ఇళ్ల స్థలాల పట్టాల విషయమై ప్రభుత్వానికి, అసత్యపు నివేదికను సమర్పించిన విషయమై రాష్ట్ర మున్సిపల్ శాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి ఎస్ సురేష్ కుమార్ విచారణకు ఆదేశించారు. ఉయ్యూరు మున్సిపల్ కమీషనర్ పై ది.22.12.2025న సామాజిక కార్యకర్త జంపాన శ్రీనివాస గౌడ్, మున్సిపల్శాఖా మంత్రి పొంగూరు నారాయణ, మున్సిపల్ శాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి ఎస్. సురేష్ కుమార్ కు పిర్యాదు చేయటం జరిగింది. ఈబి ఫారం పట్టాలను ది.17.08.2008 అప్పటి ఉయ్యూరు తహశీల్దారు. అప్పటి ఉయ్యూరు శాసన సభ్యులు, ప్రస్తుత గృహ నిర్మాణ శాఖా మంత్రి కె.పి సారధి ఆదేశాల మేరకు మంజూరు చేయగా, ఇందిరమ్మ గృహనిర్మాణంపథకం కింద 2008లో జర్నలిస్టులు గృహాలను నిర్మించుకోవడం జరిగింది. ఆ గృహానిర్మాణాల నిమిత్తం 2008లో అప్పటి తహశీల్దారు పొజిషన్ సర్టిఫికెట్లను మంజూరు చేయటం జరిగింది. ఆఇళ్ల నిర్మాణాలపై ఉయ్యూరు మున్సిపల్ కమీషనర్ రికార్డులు చూడకుండా 17 సం?రాల క్రితం మంజూరైన ఇండ్ల స్థలాల పట్టాలపై జిల్లా కలెక్టర్, ఇతర ఉన్నతాధికారులకు, అసత్యపు నివేదికలు సమర్పించినందున, ఈ విచారణకు మున్సిపల్ శాఖ ముఖ్యకార్యదర్శి ఎస్.సురేష్ కుమార్ విచారణకు ఆదేశించారు. పాత్రికేయులకు రెవిన్యూ అధికారులు పట్టాలను మంజూరు చేయగా, గృహ నిర్మాణ శాఖ అధికారులు ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణం నిమిత్తం ఋణాలను మంజూరు చేసారు. ఏమి మంజూరు చేయని మున్సిపల్ కమీషనర్ అసత్యపు నివేదికలను సమర్పించటంలోని లోగట్టు పెరుమాళ్లకే ఎరుక.
Uyyuru Municipal Commissioner Faces Probe Over False Land Allotment Report
The Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration Principal Secretary S. Suresh Kumar has ordered an inquiry into Uyyuru Municipal Commissioner for submitting a false report to the government on land allotments to journalists.
Social activist Jampana Srinivasa Goud filed complaints on December 22, 2025, with Municipal Minister Ponguru Narayana and Principal Secretary S. Suresh Kumar, alleging misconduct over Survey No. 650. On January 17, 2008, house sites were allotted to 11 journalists from local dailies, approved by then Tahsildar, MLA, and current Housing Minister K.P. Saradhi. EB forms were issued on August 17, 2008, enabling Indiramma housing scheme construction with position certificates and loans from revenue and housing officials. The Commissioner allegedly ignored municipal records on these 17-year-old allotments and built-up homes, feeding false info to the District Collector and higher-ups. “Mountains of evidence expose the scam,” Goud charged.
