భీమవరం మావుళ్ళమ్మ అమ్మవారి దేవస్థానంలో 2026 జనవరి 13వ తేదీ నుండి నెల రోజులు పాటు అత్యంత వైభవముగా జరగనున్న వార్షిక సంక్రాతి సంబరాల మహోత్సవం నేపథ్యంలో మావుళ్ళమ్మ తల్లి గర్భాలయంలో మరమ్మత్తులు, శుద్ధి, అమ్మవారి అలంకరణ తదితర పనులు నిమిత్తం ఈనెల 17 బుధవారం నుండి గర్భాలయంలో దర్శనాలు నిలుపుదల చేయడం జరుగుతుందని దేవస్థానం అసిస్టెంట్ కమీషనర్ బుద్ద మహాలక్ష్మి నగేష్ తెలియచేసారు.
మావుళ్ళమ్మ అమ్మవారి దేవస్థానంలో విశ్వావసు నామ సంవత్సర మార్గశిర బహుళ త్రయోదశి, బుధవారం 17-12-2025 ఉదయం గం॥10:25 ని.లకు కళాపకర్షణ (అమ్మవారి యొక్క కళలను బింబము నుండీ కలశలోనికి అపకర్షణ)చేసి అమ్మవారి మూల విరాట్ యొక్క దర్శనము ఆపివేయబడుతుందని.. తేది.17-12-2025 నుండి ది. 29-12-2025 వరకు అమ్మవారి యొక్క కళలను కలశంలోకి ఆవాహన చేసి అమ్మవారి గర్భాలయం వెనుక ప్రదక్షిణ మండపంలో బాలాలయం ఏర్పాటు చేసి నిత్య కైంకర్యములు అన్నీ కూడా కళావాహన చేసిన వర్ధినీకలశమునకు మరియు ఉత్సవ విగ్రహమునకు పూజాదికములు యథావిధిగా జరుగుతాయని ఆలయ ప్రధాన అర్చకులు మద్దిరాల మల్లికార్జున శర్మ తెలియచేసారు.
విశ్వావసు నామ సంవత్సర పుష్య శుద్ధ దశమి , సోమవారం 29-12-2025 న కళాన్యాస మహోత్సవం (అమ్మవారి కళలను తిరిగి కలశము నుండీ బింబమునందు ప్రవేశింపచేసి)తిరిగి ఉదయం11:00 నుండి 11:30 మధ్య అమ్మవారి మూలవిరాట్ దర్శనం పునఃప్రారంభం చేయబడుతుందని.. దూర ప్రాంతాల నుండి వచ్చే భక్తులు సహకరించాలని ఆలయ సహాయ కమిషనర్ బుద్ద మహాలక్ష్మి నగేష్ ఓ ప్రకటనలో తెలిపారు.
Mavullamma Temple Suspends Sanctum Darshan for Repairs
In preparation for the grand annual Sankranti Sambara Mahotsavam, the renowned Ilavelpu Mavullamma Ammavari Devasthanam here will suspend darshan in the main sanctum (garbhalayam) from December 17 to 29. The move is to facilitate essential repairs, purification, and adornment of the deity ahead of the 10-day festival starting January 13, 2026.
Devasthanam Assistant Commissioner Buddha Mahalakshmi Nagesh announced that darshan of the mulavirat (main idol) will halt post the Kalapakarshana ritual on Wednesday, December 17, at 10:25 AM. During this period, the deity’s eyes (kala) will be invoked into a kalasam, and daily sevas will shift to a temporary balalayam in the rear pradakshina mandapam. Priests will perform rituals for the vardhini kalasam and utsava vigraham as usual.
Chief Archaka Maddirala Mallikarjuna Sharma confirmed these arrangements. Darshan resumes on December 29 (Pushya Shuddha Dashami) with Kala Nayas Mahotsavam from 11:00-11:30 AM, reinstalling the kala into the idol.
Officials urged devotees, especially from distant places, to cooperate. “Your understanding ensures seamless festivities,” Nagesh appealed in a statement.
