ఏలూరు పాత బస్ స్టాండ్ కూడలిలో ఉన్న బాబా సాహెబ్ డా.BR అంబేద్కర్ 69వ వర్ధంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని జైభీం ట్రస్ట్ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొని భారత రత్న భీంరావ్ అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహానికి పూలమాలలు వేసి ఘన నివాళులు అర్పించిన ఏపీ ఎన్జీజివోస్ అసోసియేషన్ ఉమ్మడి పశ్చిమగోదావరి జిల్లా అధ్యక్షుడు చోడగిరి శ్రీనివాస్, ఎన్జీవోస్ జిల్లా ఏలూరు తాలూకా నాయకులు.

స్వాతంత్ర్యానంతరం భారత దేశం గణతంత్రదేశంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసుకొని రాజ్యాంగం రూపొందించుకొని, ఆ రాజ్యాంగానికి బాబా సాహెబ్ అంబేద్కర్ ని చైర్మన్ గా చేసి మానవ హక్కులు, మహిళా హక్కులు మరియు బడుగు బలహీన వర్గాలకు చదువులో రిజర్వేషన్లు, ఆర్ధికంగా బలపడడానికి ఉపయోగకరమైన హక్కులు కల్పించిన మహోన్నత వ్యక్తిగా భారత దేశ ప్రజల గుండెల్లో నిలచి ఎంతో మందికి స్ఫూర్తిదాయకంగా నిలచారని శ్రీనివాస్ తెలిపారు. ఎవరైతే అంబేద్కర్ స్పూర్తితో ఆర్ధికంగా బలపడి ముందుకు సాగుతున్నారో వారు పేద వర్గానికి అండగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.
In Eluru, the Baba Saheb BR Ambedkar statue at the old bus stand was honored with grand tributes on his 69th death anniversary. The event, organized by JaiBheem Trust, saw the joint West Godavari District President of AP NGOS Association, Chodagiri Srinivas, along with local NGO leaders, paying homage by garlanding the statue.
Srinivas highlighted Ambedkar’s pivotal role post-independence in shaping India as a republic and drafting the constitution. He praised Ambedkar’s dedication to securing human rights, women’s rights, and educational and economic reservations for marginalized communities. Srinivas urged those empowered by Ambedkar’s legacy to support the underprivileged, embodying the spirit of social upliftment advocated by the great leader.
The ceremony reflected continued respect and inspiration drawn from Ambedkar’s enduring contribution to justice and equality.
