మురుగు నీరు నిర్వహణలో ప్రభుత్వం విప్లవాత్మకమైన మార్పులు తీసుకురానున్న క్రమంలో… గ్రామాలలో మహాత్మా గాంధీ జాతీయ గ్రామీణ ఉపాధి హామీ పధకం ద్వారా గృహాల సముదాయంలో మేజిక్ డ్రైనేజీలు ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నామని రంపచోడవరం డ్వామా అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ డైరెక్టర్ తూతిక శ్రీనివాస్ విశ్వనాధ్ తెలిపారు.
జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ దినేష్ కుమార్ ఆదేశాల మేరకు రంపచోడవరం మండలానికి పైలట్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ గా రూ 1లక్షా 50 వేల నిధులతో మేజిక్ డ్రైనేజీ మంజురు కాగా వాటికి సంబందించిన నిర్మాణ పనులు ఐ.పోలవరం గ్రామ పంచాయితీ ఇర్లపల్లి గ్రామంలో రంపచోడవరం మండలం ఉపాధి హామీ సిబ్బంది చేపట్టారు. ఈ క్రమంలో గురువారం ఏపీడీ శ్రీనివాస్ విశ్వనాధ్ నిర్మాణం జరుగుతున్న మేజిక్ డ్రైనేజీ ప్రాంతాన్ని సందర్శించి సాంకేతిక సిబ్బందికి పలు సూచనలు చేసారు.

నాణ్యతలో రాజీ పడకుండా కొలతలు మేరకు నిబంధనలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని మేజిక్ డ్రైనేజీ నిర్మాణం చేపట్టాలని సిబ్బందికి ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో అడిషనల్ ప్రోగ్రాం అధికారి సత్యనారాయణ, జూనియర్ ఇంజినీర్ ఏడ్విన్ బాబు సాంకేతిక సహాయకులు సూర్రెడ్డి, శేఖర్, వాకా వీరన్న, క్షేత్ర సహాయకుడు వీరామణి తదితరులు ఉన్నారు.

- Magic Drainage System to Transform Wastewater
In a major step toward sustainable sanitation, the government is introducing a revolutionary waste water management model known as the “Magic Drainage System.” As part of this initiative, the system is being installed in rural household clusters under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), said Assistant Project Director T. Srinivas Viswanath.
Acting on the directives of District Collector Dinesh Kumar, Rampachodavaram mandal has been chosen as the pilot site for the project, with a sanctioned budget of Rs. 1.5 lakh. Construction work is underway in Irlapalli village of the I. Polavaram panchayat, led by MGNREGS staff.
During an inspection on Thursday, APD Srinivas Viswanath reviewed progress and instructed technical teams to strictly adhere to quality norms and measurement standards. “The focus must be on achieving durable, hygienic, and efficient drainage systems without compromising on quality,” he emphasized.
Additional Programme Officer Satyanarayana, Junior Engineer Edwin Babu, technical assistants Surreddy, Shekhar, Vaka Veeranna, and field assistant Veeramani participated in the inspection. Officials expressed confidence that the Magic Drainage initiative would revolutionize rural sanitation in the district and serve as a model for other villages across Andhra Pradesh.
