భీమవరంలోని మావుళ్లమ్మవారి దేవస్థానంలో అమ్మవారిని సంపూర్ణ స్వర్ణమయం చేసే లక్ష్యంతో చేపట్టిన “మావుళ్లమ్మ స్వర్ణమయం ప్రాజెక్టు” కు భక్తుల నుంచి విరాళాల సేకరణ కార్యక్రమాన్ని గురువారం ఘనంగా ప్రారంభించారు.
దేవస్థానం ప్రాంగణంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ప్రత్యేక విరాళాల కౌంటర్ను స్థానిక ఎమ్మెల్యే, పీఏసీ చైర్మన్ పులపర్తి రామాంజనేయులు, సత్యవాణి దంపతులు ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా హైదరాబాద్కు చెందిన బి. నరసింహారావు పేరుపై రూ.1.50 లక్షల నగదు విరాళాన్ని అందజేశారు.
కౌంటర్ ప్రారంభానికి ముందు బంగారు కమిటీ సభ్యులు, ధర్మకర్తలు అమ్మవారికి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు.
అనంతరం భీమవరానికి చెందిన కట్టా వెంకటేశ్వరరావు సుమారు రూ.56 వేల విలువైన 4 గ్రాముల బంగారాన్ని విరాళంగా సమర్పించగా, టి. వెంకట కృష్ణ గుప్తా – రామకృష్ణమూర్తి దంపతులు రూ.11,116, దేవస్థానం అసిస్టెంట్ కమిషనర్ బుద్ధ మహాలక్ష్మి నగేష్ రూ.1,500 విరాళంగా అందజేశారు. అమ్మవారి స్వర్ణమయం కార్యక్రమానికి భక్తులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో సహకరించాలని దేవస్థానం అధికారులు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో దేవస్థానం పాలక మండలి సభ్యులు, అధికారులు, భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Devotees Pour in Donations for Mavullamma Swarnamayam Project
A donation drive for the “Mavullamma Swarnamayam Project”, an initiative aimed at adorning Goddess Mavullamma entirely in gold, was ceremonially launched on Thursday at the Mavullamma Temple in Bhimavaram.
A special donation counter set up within the temple premises was inaugurated by local MLA and PAC Chairman Pulaparthi Ramanjaneyulu and his wife Satyavani. On the occasion, a cash donation of ₹1.50 lakh was contributed in the name of B. Narasimha Rao of Hyderabad.
Prior to the inauguration of the donation counter, members of the Gold Committee and temple trustees performed special prayers to the presiding deity.
Later, Katta Venkateswara Rao of Bhimavaram donated 4 grams of gold, valued at approximately ₹56,000, towards the project. T. Venkata Krishna Gupta and Ramakrishnamurthy couple contributed ₹11,116, while Temple Assistant Commissioner Budda Mahalakshmi Nagesh donated ₹1,500.
Temple authorities appealed to devotees to extend their support in large numbers for the successful completion of the Mavullamma Swarnamayam Project.
Members of the temple governing body, officials, and devotees participated in the programme.
