అధికారంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు మౌనం… ఊడిపోయాక మైకులతో హడావుడి!

రాజకీయ స్వలాభం కోసం జిల్లాలో దళితుల మధ్య వైషమ్యాలు, విభేదాలు సృష్టించేందుకు కొందరు కుట్రలు పన్నుతున్నారని రిపబ్లికన్ పార్టీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (ఆర్పీఐ) రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి మత్తే బాబి తీవ్ర స్థాయిలో ధ్వజమెత్తారు. స్వధర్మంలో ఒకలా, అధికారం పోయాక మరోలా వ్యవహరిస్తూ దళితులను మోసం చేసే ప్రవర్తనను తటస్థంగా ఉండే తమలాంటి వ్యక్తులు చూస్తూ ఊరుకోరని హెచ్చరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన విలేకరుల సమావేశంలో మత్తే బాబి మాట్లాడుతూ :
గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో డ్రైవర్ సుబ్రహ్మణ్యం, చీరాల కిరణ్, సుధాకర్, డాక్టర్ అనిత వంటి అనేక మంది దళితులపై దాడులు జరిగితే, అప్పట్లో అధికారంలో ఉన్న నాయకులు ఎందుకు నోరు విప్పలేదని ప్రశ్నించారు. నాటి ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్‌‌పై కనీసం పోరాటం చేయనివారు, నేడు అధికారం కోల్పోయాక దళిత ఉద్ధారకులుగా డ్రామాలు ఆడుతున్నారని ఎద్దేవా చేశారు.
అబద్ధపు ఆరోపణలతో రాజకీయం :
పాత బస్టాండ్ వద్ద విగ్రహాన్ని తొలగిస్తున్నారంటూ లేనిపోని ఆరోపణలు చేస్తూ ప్రజలను మైండ్ గేమ్‌తో మభ్యపెట్టే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నారని బాబి ఆరోపించారు. వేరే నియోజకవర్గాల్లో పనైపోయాక ఏలూరు వచ్చి, వైకాపా నాయకులను పోగేసుకుని ప్రెస్ మీట్లు పెట్టడం విడ్డూరంగా ఉందన్నారు.
ఎస్సీ కులాల అభివృద్ధి కమిటీ ఏర్పాటు :
బాబి ఒక్కడో, ఆంజనేయులు ఒక్కడో ఎదుగుతే కులమంతా ఎదిగినట్లు కాదని, ఎస్సీ కులాల్లోని ప్రతి వర్గానికి సామాజిక, రాజకీయ, ఆర్థిక న్యాయం జరగాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు. 62 డివిజన్లలో జనాభా దామాషా ప్రకారం రావాల్సిన వాటాను సాధించుకోవడానికే “ఎస్సీ కులాల అభివృద్ధి కమిటీ”ని ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. రాబోయే రోజుల్లో ఈ కమిటీ ఆధ్వర్యంలో హక్కుల సాధన కోసం నిరంతరం పోరాడతామని మత్తే బాబి ఉద్ఘాటించారు.

Republican Party of India (RPI) State General Secretary Matte Bobby alleged that certain political groups were attempting to create divisions and differences among Dalits in Eluru district for their own political gains.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Bobby said those who remained silent when they were in power were now raising their voices after losing power. He alleged that such political conduct was aimed at misleading the Dalit community and exploiting social differences for political advantage.
Bobby questioned why leaders who were in power during the previous government did not speak out when incidents involving Dalits, including the cases of driver Subrahmanyam, Chirala Kiran, Sudhakar and Dr Anitha, were reported. He alleged that those who had failed to raise their voice against the then government were now projecting themselves as champions of Dalit causes after being out of power.
Allegations Over Statue Removal :
Referring to the controversy surrounding the old bus stand, Babi alleged that false claims were being made about the removal of a statue in an attempt to mislead the public. He also questioned the political motives of leaders who, according to him, were arriving in Eluru from other constituencies and holding press conferences after mobilising YSRCP leaders.
Committee for SC Community Development :
Bobby said the progress of an individual leader could not be equated with the development of the entire Dalit community. He called for social, political and economic justice for all sections among the Scheduled Castes.
He said an “SC Communities
Development Committee” had been formed to seek the rightful share of representation and development for different SC communities across the 62 divisions, based on population proportions.
Bobby said the committee would continue to work for the rights and welfare of all sections of the SC community and intensify its efforts in the coming days.
