ద్వారకాతిరుమల మండలంలో సంచలనం రేపిన గేదె చోరీ కేసును పోలీసులు చేధించారు.
ఇద్దరు నిందితులను అరెస్ట్ చేసి, దొంగిలించిన గేదెతో పాటు దానికి జన్మించిన దూడను పోలీసులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.
గుండుగొలనుగుంట గ్రామానికి చెందిన జంగా నాగేశ్వరరావు పామాయిల్ తోటలో కట్టివుంచిన గేదెను జూలై 13న గుర్తుతెలియని వ్యక్తులు అపహరించారు. బాధితుడి ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు కేసు నమోదు చేసిన పోలీసులు సాంకేతిక ఆధారాలతో దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టి నిందితులు దిర్శిపాము వెంకట సుబ్బారావు, ఎరకల సౌమ్యలను అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు.
నిందితులు గేదెను తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం సూర్యాపేట జిల్లా నసీంపేట గ్రామంలో దాచిపెట్టినట్లు గుర్తించి, అక్కడి నుంచి గేదెతో పాటు దూడను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. కేసు ఛేదనలో కీలక పాత్ర పోషించిన ఎస్ఐ టి. సుధీర్, సిబ్బందిని జిల్లా ఉన్నతాధికారులు అభినందించారు.
Buffalo Theft Case Cracked in ELURU DISTRICT
Animal and Newborn Calf Recovered
The Dwaraka Tirumala Police have successfully solved a cattle theft case that had attracted attention in the mandal, arresting two accused and recovering the stolen cow along with a calf born after the theft.
According to police, the cow belonging to Janga Nageswara Rao, a resident of Gundugolanugunta village, was stolen on July 13 from a palm oil plantation where it had been tethered. Based on the victim’s complaint, a case was registered and an investigation was launched.
Using technical evidence and sustained field investigation, police identified and arrested the accused, Dirshipamu Venkata Subba Rao and Erakala Soumya.
During interrogation, the accused disclosed that the animal had been concealed in Nasimpeta village of Suryapet district, Telangana. A police team recovered the stolen cow along with a healthy calf that had been born during the intervening period.
The case was solved within 24 days, reflecting the prompt investigative efforts of the Dwaraka Tirumala Police.
District police officials commended Sub-Inspector T. Sudheer and his team for their professional investigation, timely detection of the offence, and successful recovery of the stolen livestock.
The accused have been taken into custody, and further legal proceedings are underway.
