మెడికొండూరు పోలీస్స్టేషన్ ఘటనపై డీజీపీకి హోంశాఖ ఆదేశాలు

విచారణకు హోంశాఖ ఆదేశం
మెడికొండూరు పోలీస్స్టేషన్ తనిఖీ సందర్భంగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన సమాచార కమిషనర్కు అడ్డంకులు కల్పించారన్న ఆరోపణలపై విచారణ చేపట్టి, నిబంధనల మేరకు తగిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని రాష్ట్ర హోంశాఖ ఆదేశించింది. ఈ మేరకు హోంశాఖ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కుమార్ విశ్వజీత్ జూలై 24న మెమో జారీ చేశారు.
విజయవాడకు చెందిన జంపాన శ్రీనివాస గౌడ్ జూలై 15న సమర్పించిన ఫిర్యాదు జూలై 21న హోంశాఖకు అందింది. మెడికొండూరు పోలీస్స్టేషన్ తనిఖీ సమయంలో రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన సమాచార కమిషనర్కు జరిగినట్లు పేర్కొన్న అడ్డంకులపై విచారణ జరిపించాలని ఆయన తన ఫిర్యాదులో కోరారు.
ఈ ఫిర్యాదు ప్రతిని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ డీజీపీకి హోంశాఖ పంపించింది. ఆరోపణలపై సమగ్రంగా పరిశీలించి, వాస్తవాలను నిర్ధారించి, అమల్లో ఉన్న నిబంధనల ప్రకారం అవసరమైన తదుపరి చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని డీజీపీని ఆదేశించింది.
ఫిర్యాదుదారు సమర్పించిన అంశాలను పరిశీలించి సంబంధిత అధికారుల నుంచి వివరాలు సేకరించడం, ఘటనకు సంబంధించిన వాస్తవ పరిస్థితులను నిర్ధారించడం అనంతరం నిబంధనల ప్రకారం చర్యలు తీసుకునే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఈ వ్యవహారంపై పోలీసు ఉన్నతాధికారుల విచారణ నివేదిక ఆధారంగా తదుపరి నిర్ణయం వెలువడనుంది.
డిజిపికి హోంశాఖ ఆదేశించిన సదరు ఘటనపై.. UFRTI కార్యకర్తలు జంపాన శ్రీనివాసగౌడ్, బేతపూడి జోగేశ్వరరావు, బొల్లా శివపార్వతి.. చట్టంపై తమకు నమ్మకం ఉందని,అనుకూలంగా రిజల్ట్ వస్తుందని ఓ ప్రకటనలో ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
Home Department Orders Probe into Alleged Obstruction During State Chief Information Commissioner’s Inspection
The Andhra Pradesh Home Department has directed the Director General of Police (DGP) to conduct an inquiry into allegations that the State Chief Information Commissioner faced obstruction while inspecting the Medikonduru Police Station in Guntur district on July 15.
The directions followed a complaint submitted by social activist Jampana Srinivasa Goud, who sought an inquiry into the alleged obstruction during the inspection. The complaint, submitted on July 15, was received by the Home Department on July 21.
In a memorandum issued on July 24, Home Department Principal Secretary Kumar Viswajeet forwarded a copy of the complaint to the Andhra Pradesh DGP and called for the allegations to be examined in detail.
The DGP has been directed to ascertain the facts of the incident, examine the issues raised in the complaint and initiate appropriate further action in accordance with the applicable rules.
The inquiry is expected to involve collection of relevant details from the officials concerned and verification of the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident. Further action will depend on the findings of the inquiry and the report submitted by the police authorities.
Meanwhile, UFRTI activists Jampana Srinivasa Goud, Bethapudi Jogeswara Rao and Bolla Sivaparvathi expressed confidence in the legal process. In a statement, they said they had faith in the law and hoped that the outcome of the inquiry would be favourable.
The Home Department’s directive has now brought the alleged incident involving the inspection of the Medikonduru Police Station under formal scrutiny by the police authorities.
