కృష్ణాజిల్లా ఉయ్యూరులో శనివారం ఉదయం స్థానిక టిటిడి కళ్యాణ మండపంలో జరిగిన డివిజన్ విద్యుత్ శాఖ సమీక్షా సమావేశానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా విచ్చేసిన సిపిడిసిఎల్ సూపరింటెండెంట్ (ఎస్.సి) వి.వి. చిరంజీవి గారిని యునైటెడ్ ఫోరం ఫర్ ఆర్టీఐ రాష్ట్ర కో కన్వీనర్, మాజీ సర్పంచ్ జంపాన శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ యు.ఎఫ్.ఆర్.టి.ఐ.స్థానిక ప్రతినిధుల బృందం తో మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిశారు.
గతంలో ఇక్కడ డీఈగా సేవలందించిన ఆయన, జిల్లా విద్యుత్ శాఖకు ఉన్నతాధికారి హోదాలో తొలిసారి రావడం స్థానికంగా ప్రత్యేకత సంతరించుకుంది. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎస్.సి. చిరంజీవి ని శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ శాలువాతో ఆత్మీయంగా సత్కరించి పుష్పగుచ్ఛాన్ని అందజేశారు.

మున్సిపాలిటీ హోదాకు మారి గృహాలు, వాణజ్య తదితర అవసరాలకు విద్యుత్ వినియోగం అధికంగా పెరిగిన నేపథ్యంలో నాణ్యమైన విద్యుత్ సరఫరా కోసం ఉయ్యూరు టౌన్ లో 132 కె.వి. స్టేషన్ ఏర్పాటు అవశ్యకతను
వివరిస్తూ జంపాన శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ సూపరింటెండెంట్(SE) వి.వి. చిరంజీవికి వినతి పత్రాన్ని అందించారు.
పలుమార్లు ప్రతిపాదనలు, శంకుస్థాపనలు జరిగినా 132 కె.వి. స్టేషన్ నిర్మాణ అంశం ముందుకు కదలటంలేదని , ప్రజల విద్యుత్ సమస్యల దృష్ట్యా ఈ విషయంలో తగిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ ఆయనను కోరారు.

చిరంజీవితో స్థానికంగా ఉన్న ప్రజల అనుబంధం ప్రత్యేకం. ఇక్కడ డీఈగా పనిచేసిన సమయంలో ప్రజల సమస్యలను ఆయన పరిష్కరించే తీరు ఆదర్శంగా ఉండేది. సేవలో అంకిత భావం, మాటలో వినయం, పనిలో నిబద్ధత కలిసిన అధికారి ఆయన. ఎస్సీ స్థాయి పదవిలోకి ఎదిగి మన మధ్యకు రావడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. ఇక్కడ ఆయన చేసిన సేవలను ప్రజలు మరువలేదు. భవిష్యత్తులో కూడా అదే స్పూర్తితో జిల్లా అధికారిగా చిరంజీవి గారు పనిచేయాలని మా ఆకాంక్షిస్తూ శుభాకాంక్షలు ” అని ఆయన అన్నారు.

“ఉయ్యూరు డివిజన్ లో పనిచేసి ఇక్కడకు ఎస్.ఈ గా రావడం నాకు ఆనందంగా ఉంది. గతంలో ఇక్కడ పనిచేసినప్పుడు ప్రజలు చూపిన సహకారం, ప్రేమ ఇంకా గుర్తుంది.హోదా ఎలా ఉన్నా ప్రజల అవసరాలు గుర్తించి అందరి సహకారంతో శాఖ పరంగాపని చేయడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నాను. నాకు సత్కారం చేసిన యూనైటెడ్ ఫోరం ఫర్ ఆర్టీఐ రాష్ట్ర కో కన్వీనర్ జంపాన శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్, వారి ప్రతినిధులకు ధన్యవాదాలు” అని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
Jampana SriNivas Goud Honors CPDCL Electrical Superintendent V.V. Chiranjeevi.
In Uyyuru town, Krishna District, a special felicitation event marked the honor of V.V. Chiranjeevi, Electrical Superintendent (SE) of the Central Power Distribution Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (CPDCL). The ceremony was led by Jampani SriNivas Goud, United Forum for RTI (UFRTI) state co-convener and former sarpanch, who alongside local UFRTI representatives warmly welcomed and recognized Chiranjeevi in a gathering held at the TTD Kalyana Mandapam.
SriNivas Goud presented Superintendent Chiranjeevi with a traditional shawl and a bouquet, honoring his distinguished service and celebrating his elevation as a senior officer within the district’s power department—a historic first for the area. Having previously served as a Deputy Engineer (DE) in Uyyuru, Chiranjeevi’s rise to SE is regarded as a significant achievement and source of local pride.
During the meeting, Goud formally submitted a memorandum requesting the establishment of a 132 kV electrical substation in Uyyuru town. He emphasized the urgent need for enhanced power infrastructure due to rapid municipal growth and increased electricity consumption in residential and commercial sectors. Despite previous proposals and groundwork, the project has yet to materialize, causing persistent power supply concerns among locals. Goud urged the SE to expedite necessary actions to address these issues.Chiranjeevi acknowledged the community’s continued support since his earlier tenure and expressed his commitment to delivering reliable and quality power services in his new role. He thanked the UFRTI leaders for the gracious welcome and pledged to prioritize public needs with cooperation from all stakeholders.
Also present were UFRTI district officials including Kosta District Convener Betapudi Jogeswara Rao and district president Bayyavarp Durga Prasad.
This event highlighted cooperative efforts between civil authorities and community leaders to improve the region’s power infrastructure, aiming to enhance quality of life in Uyyuru.
