Vijayawada Police Crack Down on Uttar Pradesh Gang, Recover Stolen Goods Worth ₹2.51 Crore In a significant breakthrough, the Vijayawada police have arrested six members of a gang from Uttar Pradesh for stealing ₹2.51 crore worth of iPhones and laptops from a godown in Enikepadu, Vijayawada.According to the police, the gang, led by a person named Ranjit, had been operating in Andhra Pradesh for some time. They had been gathering information about godowns and warehouses in the area and had targeted the Enikepadu godown on the night of February 5.
The police said that the gang had cut through the roof of the godown and made off with the stolen goods. However, their luck ran out when they were caught by the police on February 7 while trying to escape to Bihar.The police have recovered all the stolen goods, including iPhones and laptops, and have arrested the six members of the gang. The police are also investigating how the gang had managed to gather information about the godown and its security systems.
Increased Security Measures In the wake of the incident, the Vijayawada police have announced that they will be increasing security measures in the area. This includes installing CCTV cameras and setting up committees to monitor the security of godowns and warehouses.”We will not tolerate any kind of criminal activity in our city,” said CP Rajashekhar Babu. “
