ఇటీవల వచ్చిన మొంథా తుఫాన్ వలన ఇబ్బంది పడ్డ కొంతమంది నిరుపేద తుఫాన్ బాధితులకు ఉంగుటూరు మండలం చేబ్రోలు గ్రామంలో పునరావాస కేంద్రంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యక్రమంలో ఉంగుటూరు శాసనసభ్యులు పత్సమట్ల ధర్మరాజు బాధితులకు 25 కేజీల బియ్యం, కేజీ పప్పు, కేజీ నూనె, కేజీ ఉల్లిపాయలు, కూరగాయలను అధికారులు కూటమి నాయకుల సమక్షంలో బాధితులకు పంపిణీ చేశారు.

మొంథా తుఫాను ఎక్కువ నష్టం కలిగిస్తుందన్న అంచనాతో నియోజకవర్గంలోని అధికారులందరినీ అప్రమత్తం చేయడం జరిగిందని వారితో నిరంతరం మాట్లాడుతూ పరిస్థితిని ఎప్పటికప్పుడు తెలుసుకోవడం జరిగిందని అదేవిధంగా ఇంచార్జి మంత్రి, జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ కూడా ఎప్పటికప్పుడు తనకు తగిన సమాచారం ఇస్తూ ఉండేవారని అదృష్టవశాత్తు మొంథా తుఫాను వలన ప్రాణ నష్టం గాని ఆస్తి నష్టం గానీ పెద్దగా ఏమీ జరగలేదు.
అయితే కొంత పంట నష్ట మాత్రం జరిగింది. కావున సదరు నష్టం అంచనాలను అధికారులు నిష్పక్షపాతంగా నిర్వహించి వెంటనే నివేదికను పై అధికారులకు పంపించాలని ఆయన కోరారు. అదేవిధంగా నియోజకవర్గంలోని అధికారులు అందరూ చక్కటి సమన్వయంతో పని చేశారని వారందరినీ అభినందించారు

Unguturu MLA Patsamatla Dharmaraju Distributes Relief to Cyclone-Affected Families
In a humanitarian gesture, Unguturu MLA Patsamatla Dharmaraju distributed essential relief materials to the victims of the recent Montha cyclone at a rehabilitation centre in Chebrolu village,
Unguturu mandal. The relief kits included 25 kilograms of rice, pulses, edible oil, onions, and vegetables, ensuring that affected families had access to immediate necessities. The distribution was carried out in the presence of local officials and community leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Dharmaraju said that anticipating the cyclone’s potential impact, he had instructed officials across the constituency to remain vigilant and take precautionary measures to safeguard residents.
He maintained constant communication with local authorities and monitored ground-level conditions throughout the storm’s duration. The MLA also noted the support received from the in-charge minister and the district collector, who provided regular updates on the evolving situation.
Fortunately, Dharmaraju said, Montha cyclone did not cause any major loss of life or property in the region. However, minor crop damage was reported in certain areas. He directed officials to conduct a fair assessment of the damages and submit detailed reports to higher authorities for quick compensation to affected farmers.
Dharmaraju praised the coordination among the administration, particularly local revenue and panchayat staff, for their efficient handling of cyclone preparedness and relief measures.
The event was attended by MPDO G.R. Manoj, Tahsildar Purnachandra Prasad, local sarpanch, and coalition leaders.
