మున్సిపల్ కార్యాలయంలో బాబు జగ్జీవన్ రామ్ జయంతి వేడుకలు ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ ఎం. యేసుబాబు బాబు జగ్జీవన్ రామ్ చిత్రపటానికి పూలమాల వేసి ఘనంగా నివాళులు అర్పించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ మాట్లాడుతూ :
స్వాతంత్ర్య సమరయోధుడిగా, సంఘ సంస్కర్తగా, దేశ మాజీ ఉప ప్రధానిగా బాబు జగ్జీవన్ రామ్ దేశానికి చేసిన సేవలను కొనియాడారు. బాబు జగ్జీవన్ రామ్ తన జీవితాన్ని సామాజిక న్యాయం, అణగారిన వర్గాల అభ్యున్నతి, ప్రజాస్వామ్య పరిరక్షణ కోసం అంకితం చేశారని, ఆయన ఆశయాలను స్ఫూర్తిగా తీసుకొని ప్రజలకు నిబద్ధతతో, నిజాయితీగా సేవలు అందించాలని సిబ్బందికి పిలుపునిచ్చి, సమానత్వం, సేవా భావంతో పురపాలక పాలన కొనసాగిస్తామని ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేయించారు.

Babu Jagjivan Ram’s 118th Jayanti Celebrated in Tadepalligudem
The 118th birth anniversary of Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram was observed with grandeur at the municipal office here on Sunday. Municipal Commissioner M. Yesubabu paid floral tributes to the portrait of the freedom fighter, social reformer, and former Deputy Prime Minister.
Addressing the gathering, Yesubabu lauded Babu Jagjivan Ram’s lifelong dedication to social justice, upliftment of marginalized communities, and safeguarding democracy. He urged staff to draw inspiration from his ideals, serve people with integrity and commitment, and pledged continued governance rooted in equality and service spirit.
The event was attended by Manager Ravi Sudhakar, Town Planning Officer Jagadeeshwar Rao, Revenue Inspector Ashok Kumar, Assistant Engineer Harish, Sanitation Supervisor Someswara Rao, A1 Gumasta Suresh, Record Assistant Srinivas, section heads, and other municipal staff.
