స్వచ్ఛభారత్ లో భాగంగా తాడేపల్లిగూడెం పట్టణానికి జాతీయ స్థాయి ర్యాంకు సాధించేలా ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ కృషి చేయాలని మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ యేసుబాబు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. పట్టణ పరిశుభ్రతపై ప్రజల్లో అవగాహన పెంపొందించేందుకు నిర్వహించిన సమావేశంలో ఆయన మాట్లాడారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కమిషనర్ మాట్లాడుతూ..
పట్టణంలోని ఇళ్లు, రోడ్లు, డ్రైనేజీలు ఎల్లప్పుడూ పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉంచుకోవాలని సూచించారు. తడి చెత్త, పొడి చెత్తలను వేరువేరుగా విడదీసి పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికులకు అందించడం ద్వారా పరిశుభ్రతను మెరుగుపరచవచ్చన్నారు. పరిశుభ్రత పాటించడం ద్వారా ఆరోగ్య సమస్యలను నివారించడంతో పాటు పట్టణానికి జాతీయ స్థాయి గుర్తింపు వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపారు.
ప్రజలు అందరూ పురమిత్ర యాప్ను తమ మొబైల్లో అందుబాటులో ఉంచుకోవాలని సూచించారు. మున్సిపాలిటీకి సంబంధించిన పారిశుద్ధ్యం, డ్రైనేజీ, వీధి దీపాలు వంటి సమస్యలను ఈ యాప్ ద్వారా నమోదు చేసి త్వరితగతిన పరిష్కరించుకోవచ్చన్నారు. అలాగే మున్సిపల్ పన్నులు, ఇతర చెల్లింపులను సకాలంలో చెల్లించి పట్టణ అభివృద్ధికి సహకరించాలని కమిషనర్ ఈ సందర్భంగా కోరారు.
స్వచ్ఛత కార్యక్రమాల్లో ప్రజలు చురుకుగా పాల్గొని మున్సిపాలిటీకి సహకరించాలని, నగర పరిశుభ్రతపై అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు ఇలాంటి కార్యక్రమాలను కొనసాగిస్తామని ఆయన తెలిపారు. సమావేశంలో మున్సిపల్ అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Awareness Meeting on Urban Cleanliness Held Under the Leadership of Municipal Commissioner Yesubabu
Municipal Commissioner Yesubabu urged citizens to work collectively to achieve a national ranking for Tadepalligudem town as part of the Swachh Bharat initiative.
He spoke at an awareness meeting organized to promote urban cleanliness among the public.On this occasion, the Commissioner advised residents to keep their houses, roads, and drainage systems clean at all times. He emphasized that segregating wet and dry waste and handing it over to sanitation workers would significantly improve cleanliness.
He stated that maintaining cleanliness would not only prevent health problems but also help the town gain national-level recognition.He also advised citizens to keep the Puramitra mobile application accessible on their phones. Through this app, residents can report municipal issues such as sanitation, drainage, and streetlight problems and get them resolved promptly.
He further urged people to pay municipal taxes and other dues on time to support the development of the town.The Commissioner appealed to citizens to actively participate in cleanliness initiatives and cooperate with municipal authorities. He added that such awareness programs would continue to ensure better urban sanitation.Municipal officials, staff, and town residents participated in the meeting.
