Keeping the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu in view, District Collector P. Prasanthi, Member of Parliament Daggubati Purandeswari, and Municipal Commissioner Ketan Garg held a meeting on Saturday with a professional team to discuss the establishment of “low water usage – odorless toilets.”On Saturday evening, at the local municipal corporation office, Hemant and Satyanarayana from Messrs. Rosario Professional explained the “Waterless – Odorless” project through a PowerPoint presentation.
On this occasion, MP Purandeswari, speaking… She stated that steps are being taken toward Vision 2047 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat and Swachh Awas programs. In this context, she emphasized the need to make the most of available opportunities to efficiently organize the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu.

Prasanthi, speaking… She said that as part of the Swarnandhra Swachh Andhra program, the project to set up low water usage and odorless toilets is being undertaken within the Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation limits to conserve natural resources. She mentioned that a detailed discussion was held with company representatives regarding the project. She also noted that the functioning of a model toilet was inspected. She added that such projects would enable efficient sanitation management systems. On this occasion, she elaborated on the aspects designed as part of the project. She explained that the project was developed to address current environmental challenges through innovative solutions, reducing water usage to ensure the sustainability of natural resources. She clarified that they are committed to the proposed aspects and brought several key points to the meeting’s attention.

Conservation of Natural Resources: He explained to the MP that the project’s primary focus is not only to enhance the hygiene of odorless and waterless urinals but also to significantly reduce water consumption while improving sustainable sanitation management efficiency.
Company Representatives: They stated that such innovative proposals are ideal for reviving and purifying water resources like rivers, ponds, and swimming pools, promoting healthy ecosystems and clean environments. They noted that it reduces dependence on traditional energy sources and provides a sustainable alternative. The company representatives explained that the project demonstrates efficient facility management while ensuring commercial and environmental feasibility.
