మహాత్మాగాంధీ జాతీయ గ్రామీణ ఉపాధిహామీ పథకంలో అలసత్వం వహిస్తున్న సిబ్బందిపై రంపచోడవరం అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ డైరెక్టర్ తూతిక శ్రీనివాస విశ్వనాధ్ సీరియస్ అయ్యారు. ఉపాధి శ్రామికులకు సకాలంలో వేతనాలు చెల్లించకపోవడం, నిబంధనలు ప్రకారం చేసిన పనులు భువన్ అప్లికేషన్ లో అప్లోడ్ చెయ్యకపోవడం, శ్రామికులకు పనిదినాలు కల్పించడంలో అలసత్వం వహించడం, పనులు పూర్తి చేసి ఆన్లైన్ అప్లికేషన్ లో అప్లోడ్ చెయ్యకపోవడం తదితర విషయాలలో ప్రగతి లేకపోవడన్ని గుర్తించిన ఏపీడీ కార్యాలయం సంబంధిత క్షేత్రస్థాయి సహాయకులకు, సాంకేతిక సహాయకులకు లిఖికిత పూర్వకంగా సమాధానం ఇమ్మని తాఖీదులు జారీ చేసింది.. కాగా ఏపీడీ ఆదేశాలను కూడా సిబ్బంది పెడచెవిని పెట్టి, ఇచ్చిన తాఖీధులకు స్పందించకపోవడన్ని ఏపీడీ శ్రీనివాస విశ్వనాధ్ తీవ్రంగా పరిగణించారు.
ఈసందర్బంగా సిబ్బందికి మరొకసారి తాఖీదులు జారిచేసి సిబ్బందిని వివరణ కోరారు. ప్రభుత్వం ఉపాధిహామీ పథకాన్ని, శ్రామికుల సంక్షేమాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని చాలా ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా అమలు చేస్తుందని, సిబ్బంది అలసత్వం వలన పేదల పథకంలో అక్రమాలు జరిగినా, సిబ్బంది లక్ష్యలను చేరక పోయినా చర్యలు తప్పవని ఏపీడీ శ్రీనివాస విశ్వనాధ్ హెచ్చరించారు.
తాఖీదులు తీసుకున్న వారిలో మారేడుమిల్లి మండలానికి చెందిన సాంకేతిక సహాయకులు రామిరెడ్డి, జగ్గారావుదొర, మంగాదేవి, చినమ్మి, బిఎఫ్టి రామచంద్ర ప్రసాద్, క్షేత్రసహాయకులు వెంకన్న దొర ఉన్నారు.

APD Takes Serious Note of Negligence Among NREGS Staff
Assistant Project Director (APD) Tuthik Srinivasa Vishwanadh has taken a stern view of the negligence shown by staff working under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). Reports revealed delays in wage payments to rural labourers, failure to upload completed work details on the Bhuvan application, and lack of progress in implementing assigned tasks.
The APD’s office issued written notices to field and technical assistants, asking for explanations regarding their poor performance. However, many staff members reportedly ignored the earlier memos, prompting the APD to issue a fresh round of show-cause notices.
Vishwanath emphasized that the government treats the employment guarantee scheme as a flagship initiative for rural welfare. He warned that any negligence or irregularities that hinder workers’ benefits or project targets would invite strict disciplinary action.
Those served with notices include technical assistants Ramireddy, Jaggaravudora, Mangadevi, Chinammi, BFT Ramachandra Prasad, and field assistant Venkanna Dora.
